*Official* - Pakistan in New Zealand 2010/2011

It looks like How is susceptible to the short ball. Good teams will bounce him out with a well placed fielder. And on that note it seems New Zealand can't magically pull out players from nowhere like Pakistan.

Crazy how much these batsmen have fallen away since 2008 actually. Back then we were looking at a team that could have gone all the way in the world cup.

Then Bond retired and the rest of the good players forgot how to play this format.
I blame 2020.

I mean, look at Jamie How's last two innings

Jamie How loves the short ball.

Tight bowling screws him over, because early in his innings he can bat very slowly if no boundaries are on offer. As a result he picks one of his go to shots and holes out.

I hope teams feed him short pitched bowling though.:p

Razzaq getting away with murder here. These two need to consolidate but this wicket is so flat that a bowler sending down 3 maidens in six overs is taking the Mick.

Pakistan should try Mohammad Talha or Junaid Khan because currently they don't have a good new ball bowler, even Rana is pretty decent with the new ball.

What do you guys think of Riaz or Gul as new ball bowlers

I might end up having Ireland as my first team at the world cup at this rate. They're less likely to do stupid things.

Another nail in the coffin for rotation. This lot look so rusty and so do the batting combinations.

This whole batting performance so far just screams of a side that has no confidence and cannot do anything right. Even when we're 37/0 after 6 overs, it only takes one wicket for all the other wheels to fall off and roll down the road into a collection of priceless Ming vases.
