Why on earth would you want to drop him? This season he's taken 18 wickets at under 30 on some very good batting tracks? My biggest worry is that if he bowls us to a win today he'll see it as a good retiring point.
Think he might be about to go tbh. Gives me impressions of O'Brien after he announced his retirement then started bowling out of his skin. Suspect he made the decision at the start of the season that this would be his last.

Surely you'd agree that before this series, it was pretty much unanimous that it'd be his last?

I would've thought so to, but before this match, he said that if he stayed fit and in form, he wanted to hang around for another season in order to give the younger bowlers a bit more time to mature in domestic cricket.

Well ****, in that case, he can stay.

As long as he continues to bowl on the stumps, like he has in his best spells.:@

**** Martin has a great record at Basin. Wish he could roll up the pitch and take it with him everywhere he goes.

Yeah, this is the ground he randomly bowls massive great inswingers at. Hasn't really happened for him in this match but he's still bowled bloody well.

For that Hafeez not out edge thingamajig decision, isn't it possible that the ball could have changed direction due to the dynamic wind speeds and pressures just as it passes the thick edge by a small margin?

Yes, entirely possible. Just like it was possible that the drinks cart was hauled onto the ground by a unicorn with Liberace at the reins.

Oh, that doesn't sound good at all. Ateast the quake was far from major population centers

Vettori as always looking as useful as a wet tea bag on a 5th day pitch.
