*Official* - Pakistan in New Zealand 2010/2011

PAKISTAN !
The Enzeds have a habit of collapsing spectacularly to Pakistan pacers down the years: Wasim n Waqar, Mo Zahid in 96/97, Sami (on debut), Shoaib and now this.
well done
Pakistan Zindabad ~ is that the correct spelling Xuhaib?

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Pakistan just holds something over us. Test cricket collapses, world cup semi finals...we just collapse in a heap from nowhere.

one thing you have to give it to Pakistan even during our worst period for the last 30 years we have not lost the knack of nothing up away test wins, something that not many teams can claim too.

yeah. This is an absolute terrible collapse. The bowling attack was worse than 3rd rate.
Eh...Wahab looks decent, and Gul is always a threat with the old ball. But when lined up next to the attack that took on Australia and England earlier in the year...you're right, there's no comparison

Can someone explain what happened? The pitch looked flat. Terrible batting, good bowling, both?

Expletives fail me.

When I last checked the score we were 32/0 and I thought "hey, that's looking good. Maybe McIntosh is good for his once-per-series score and we'll erase that deficit without too much trouble." And then I get home and the match is OVER!!!!!!! How???!! What? Why is this happening?! No, surely not.

I only had Cricinfo and CW to look at to work out what happened... so let's see... drop numerous catches, bowl a bunch of pies, let tail-enders slog runs. Then come out to bat and make the performance in the field actually look good in comparison. Not sure if I can bare to watch replays of the dismissals unless it's for any humour present in seeing McIntosh dismiss himself for almost the third time in the innings while still on 3, or Guptill playing a very responsible slog-sweep, or Taylor and Williamson conspiring to get Taylor run out since he'd narrowly failed to do the same in the first innings.

**** **** ****!

Of course the umpiring was a complete *&$&-up and that always seems to play a part in these debacles, and of course the ICC are a bunch of ****s who clearly couldn't care less about quality of officiating in matches, especially between smaller nations. But that is no excuse.

Terrible timing as well for this to happen, with the IPL auctions last night. Talkback and the other peanut galleries around will be abuzz with chatter about this, and for once it's hard to disagree.

Well done Pakistan, I guess. You managed to show up to the ground on time and apparently that's all that was necessary.

The Enzeds have always had mud batsmen in their ranks, Donnelly, JF Reid and Crowe aside.

Prince EWS aware me on kallisball.
apparently Kallis is so good in all aspects of the game that PEWS decided to call cricket as Kallisball. I hope I had understood the concept correctly. I believe this is the thinking behind this idea.
