Rehman, Riaz, Gul, Tanvir all can bat tbf. Should've prepared a green wicket tbh. This killing me. Two wickets and we're through.
Well, should be through. We have a bad habit of letting the tail wag.
rubbish.I could catch only the end of NZ's Innings today.
How do people rate Tanvir Ahmed as a bowler?
Nah still think Umer is more talented but not test cricket ready yet, Asad is a decent little batsman with a good temperament still few technical issues which can be sorted in time hopefully he will not catch the disease that plague most young Pakistani batsmanEver since I first saw Asad in the SA ODI series, I was very impressed. Far better batsman than U.Akmal.
BTW does Kane chuck it?
He lacks pace for sure...but i wouldn't say he is rubbish at all. He did well against a full strength SA batting line up on pretty flat surface....not rubbish in my books but will have a short career...Tanvir already has 10 wickets @ 21 in 2 matches.
Does anyone think he's actually good or is it the general consensus that he's incredibly lucky?
He's rather innocuous, no great pace or bounce to speak of.Tanvir already has 10 wickets @ 21 in 2 matches.

Asad has the best technique in the whole Pakistani line-up atm, yes even better than Khan.Nah still think Umer is more talented but not test cricket ready yet, Asad is a decent little batsman with a good temperament still few technical issues which can be sorted in time hopefully he will not catch the disease that plague most young Pakistani batsman
He does look extremely lucky to me with his wicket taking deliveries, I wonder how he long his luck will carry him forward. But he does put the ball in the right areas more often than not but that doesn't make him the sort of bowler who can run through batting line ups.Tanvir already has 10 wickets @ 21 in 2 matches.

I think Southee was comfortably their best batsman as well yesterdayThings just didn't go New Zealand's way today, and now it'll be a tough road to get out of this match without losing. Have to come out firing tomorrow morning if we're to have any chance. Take the new ball, make the early break through, and hope the tail doesn't wag too much. Then it's up to the batsmen not to **** things up on the second go round.
Felt really sorry for Southee today. I've been keen to get stuck into him in recent times, but he was comfortably the best of New Zealand's bowlers today. Made the batsmen play and miss, and had a couple of good-ish lbw shouts turned down. He also the only bowler to get the ball to reverse appreciably. Hope he grabs a couple tomorrow.
235/4 is a fair score tbh. Could easily push for 400.this is actally a great batting track but neither team is good eough to exploit the conditions.
you must be quite happy that Misbah is doing really well while most of the other posters believe (and for good reason) that Misbah is ****235/4 is a fair score tbh. Could easily push for 400.
Indeed. He'd probably make my 35years+ World XI. WAG he is.you must be quite happy that Misbah is doing really well
