Poster Aussie must be smiling at Sehwag's numbers in the series. Would be tough battle for him in England too, I think.

India definitely the #1 team I feel. Was never entirely sure about them being #1 but am far more sure of them than anyone else. Think England are better than S.Africa taking into account this last month.

India and SA evenly matched given that SA has drawn twice recently in India and the latter has drawn here with SA. The main difference is that India has the capacity to win at home, SA doesn't.

Am looking forward to the ODI series as well. Should be some good, exciting cricket. Can't wait for the resumption of Steyn-Tendulkar with both parties looking to attack.

Am praying no one gets hurt during this series. Would hate anyone missing the WC.

Disappointed by the way we played yesterday but I'd still take a 1-1

Really gotta give credit to Gambhir. This guy knows how to guts its out. I don't care how unconvincing he looks on pitches like these as long as he performs he's a good player in my book. Hope he has a good tour of England.

Sehwag out already because of his shoulder, Zaheer is a zombie, and now Gambhir is hit on his hand. Looking forward to the ODI series.:p

Steyn Vs Sachin will be a no contest with the white ball. Steyn is a poor OD bowler. Doesn't bowl enough yorkers.

Actually yes that is true. As good as Dale Steyn is in test matches (and he's damn good) his ODI bowling is actually pretty meh. Not necessarily because he doesn't bowl enough yorkers but just generally he hasn't managed to succeed in that format. He gives the ball a chance to swing and probably gets hit a lot more in ODI's because of it. Even in test matches there have been times when he's gone for a fair few runs which you wouldn't expect. Pretty similar to Waqar.

Steyn will end up like Sehwag when it comes to ODI's imo. Underachieving despite having the talent to succeed.

He bowls too many length balls which allows the batter to free his arms in the slog overs. He is an above average opening bowler in OD games.

Looks like Gambhir has taken over the blocking role from Dravid now. And he is seriously good at it. Should we play him at 3 and drop Dravid and get Vijay in the side?
