Haha, I remember when Gul took 5/6 against NZ at the T20 World Cup a few years back.

There was some insinuation regarding how strange it was that he got the ball to do so much. Well, all credibility that Gul had just went out the window, tbh.

Been interesting to hear a few very recent cricketers being so open about ball tampering, McMillan said he scrapped the ball on the ami(?) concrete and Bond doesn't seem to act like tampering is very rare seems as if the Pakistani's aren't the only ones to do it. It's pretty hard to prove that he was actually affecting the ball at all tbh...could just be moving his thumb up and down in the vicinity of the ball

Doully was talking earlier about when he played there was this thing where fielders collecting the ball from the fence would try and scrape it on the cement as they picked it up.

Treating it like a Test match and not trying any risky shots. If he wants to play keep Tests he needs to show he can do this.

Exactly. He needs to learn to rotate the strike once an over, but im all for him batting time and with some control.

He can play this way in an NZ batting line up i guess. McCullum, Taylor and Ryder all score at a reasonable rate.

Yeah, definitely hasn't been a good knock so far but his game is limited as yet and he has shown good determination to get through.

Cue him getting out.

A good learning experience, which he probably wouldn't get in domestic cricket
