What kind of night out ends at midnight!? You're a fresher! :ph34r
I'm out with school friends and wanna get home for the Ashes first session. I'm not going to be home from a uni night out at midnight, don't you worry.

Yeah RAW was pretty gun imo. Thought Miz vs Morrison was excellent. Only gripe is that it's a shame it wasn't given a PPV spot.

Also massive lol @ R-Truth saying "go back where you came from" to Del Rio, only for Michael Cole to cut in really fast and say in a panicky way "He means Smackdown folks!"

Pretty good Raw this week but a shame that the match between The Miz and John Morrison wasn't at the Royal Rumble. Not that I'm complaining though because they tore the house down!

John Morrison continues to look better each week and it's pretty obvious they are trying to build some toughness into his character. The Miz has to be the superstar of 2010 and he continues to perform so well in 2011.

The Nexus storyline is very interesting too and it'll be fun to see where this takes CM Punk, Nexus, Wade Barrett and John Cena.

With the Royal Rumble just a few weeks away I have no idea who's going to win it but I'll have a go at listing some favourites to win the Rumble.

1. John Morrison - Looks to me to be the favourite now since they are really giving him the big push.

2. Triple H - Not a long shot by any means as a triumphant return at the Royal Rumble would set up a pretty good Wrestlemania main event.

3. CM Punk - Being involved with Nexus and John Cena surely means a potential win for CM Punk at the Royal Rumble.

4. Wade Barrett - Again with all the attention around Nexus and John Cena, Wade Barrett could surprise a few and win.

5. Alberto Del Rio - He's had an amazing 2010 and winning the Royal Rumble could be his ticket to step up and main event Wrestlemania.

6. Christian - Depending on his injury he could make a surprise return at the Royal Rumble costing Alberto Del Rio a chance at victory and could potentially go on to face Edge at Wrestlemania.

The Royal Rumble would be a fantastic opportunity for all of these individuals listed. A win by Randy Orton or John Cena at the Royal Rumble will just induce groans of boredom and predictability so I do hope that one of these individuals go on to win and then main event Wrestlemania. Except for Triple H who's already done it before, all of the above would be worthy winners.

Would love to see Ziggler win it tbh, but probably a bit too soon for him. Reckon Sheamus is probably worth a shout at this stage though, or CM Punk. Not easy to call in any case, so will be interesting to see what happens. I don't think Barrett will win, it seems likely to me that provided Undertaker can get fit again by the time WM comes around, the two will probably face each other. Would also be incredibly surprised to see Christian win it as well, creative don't seem to really use him for anything more than putting other people over, for them to change their stance on this just because he's been out injured for a while would be a bit strange.

**** yeah! Dolph Ziggler is the new number one contender for Edge's WHC, that is awesome news. Guess he won't win the Royal Rumble now, but massive chance for him to get exposure here, WAG.

Great Smackdown this week. Edge vs Kane was very well done and the Dolph Ziggler vs Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio vs Alberto Del Rio matches were awesome. Very wrestling heavy show this week without the stupidity which made the show really good. Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston and Alberto Del Rio came off as stars by the end of the night. Good booking and the Royal Rumble is shaping up to be a pretty good event.

I'm not sure whether any of you caught TNA Genesis but it was an eventful show even if it was crap. I'm not going to post spoiler tags here because lets face it, it's a TNA PPV and nobody cares.

Matt Hardy made his TNA debut and beat RVD. Matt looked terrible here and he's clearly not lost the weight that he had put on while he was in WWE. He looked out of shape and his new hairstyle (i.e. braided dreadlocks) did him no favours what so ever.

What's worse he beat RVD who TNA push as one of their biggest stars. The match was horrible, RVD was sloppy and Matt Hardy was just uninspired. Another eventful match was Jeff Jarrett vs Kurt Angle and the reason why this was eventful was due to the TNA cameraman catching Kurt Angle visibly cutting himself with a blade. It's so stupid on TNA's part that it's funny.

What's worse was that it was clear as day that Angle was blading and then the stupid announcers trying to cover it up and say that got busted open due to Jarrett. The last eventful match was Ken Anderson vs Matt Morgan for the number one contender spot to face the TNA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy.

This angle has been okay mainly selling Ken Anderson's concussion problems and how Matt Morgan looked out for him and had his best interest in mind. The build up has been okay so I was into the match. The match in itself wasn't too bad and Ken Anderson won. However Eric Bischoff comes out and in a pretty good heel move says that Anderson has his title shot right now.

Enter Jeff hardy who's smoking a cigarette! Yes, that's right a cigarette smoking Jeff Hardy comes out to face Ken Anderson. He's also dressed in street clothes. Well the story of the night is that after kicking out multiple times out Jeff Hardy's finishers, Ken Anderson nails his finisher and is now the TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

All I can say is that the PPV wasn't that great but at least they were smart enough to get the belt off of Jeff Hardy who's been nothing but a bad investment for them. I think his legal troubles where he is about to plead guilty to drugs charges is also a factor behind this. But despite the flack that Ken Anderson gets I'm happy for him and I'm looking forward to his run as TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

Just finished watching Raw too. Wow, what a great show this week. Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk are both absolutely amazing performers. Great match between Sheamus and John Morrison again. Amazing show tonight.

Haha, jeez, CM Punk really is creepy and hateable in his current role. Surprised some of the stuff (particularly the whipping bit) was classified as PG. The one concern I have about his role in Nexus though, is his size, I think when he's stood with them all, he's smaller and more slender than several of the other members, and somehow it just doesn't look right, like it's hard to imagine how anyone like that would ever actually be feared in the way his character is in real life. Minor problem perhaps, but it's something that struck me.

In any case, looking forward to seeing what happens next week. Can't imagine they'll actually let Punk and Cena go ahead so soon, lots of money to be made out of these two.

WMAQ-Ch. 5 sports anchor Mike Adamle has been charged with driving under the influence after he was stopped by Evanston police early Monday and later displayed “erratic behavior,” authorities said Tuesday.

The former Chicago Bear and Northwestern University All-American was arrested at 1 a.m. Monday in the area of Main Street and Judson Avenue, according to a police report.

Adamle was pulled over for allegedly disobeying a red-flashing traffic signal at Main and Sheridan, according to police Cmdr. Jay Parrott. The officer who pulled him over believed Adamle could be under influence, so he conducted a field sobriety test, which Parrott said Adamle failed.

Adamle was taken to the police station, where he exhibited some ”erratic behavior,” according to Parrott, who would not elaborate. According to a 2009 Tribune column, Adamle suffers from epilepsy.

Adamle, 61, was taken to Evanston Hospital, where blood was taken, Parrott said. Police are not releasing his blood alcohol level pending results of a drug screening from the state police crime lab.

Police Chief Richard Eddington ordered that Adamle’s mug shot not be released, according to Parrott.

Adamle, of Evanston, graduated from Northwestern in 1971. During his college career he earned All-American honors and was named Big Ten MVP in his senior season, according to his WMAQ-Ch. 5 biography.

He was a fourth-round draft pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in 1971, and played for the New York Jets and Chicago Bears before retiring in 1977.

After his football career, Adamle worked as a sports reporter and anchor for a variety of stations before joining WMAQ-Ch. 5 as sports anchor. Program Directo Toni Falvo declined comment on Tuesday.

Adamle is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 14 in Skokie. He could not immediately be reached for comment.
Oh how the mighty have fallen.

I think the fact he's smaller just plays into the fact that he's an evil man with a maniuplative mind. He was a lot smaller than Gallows and there was no doubt who the boss was there.
