Yes, It's between Anderson, Zaheer, Morkel and Swann. Asif and Aamer are banned atm.Oh. I thought he said that Zaheer is clearly the 2nd best bowler in the world.
IMHO, Zaheer's 2nd best atm.

Morkal is fair way behind atm from the others.Yes, It's between Anderson, Zaheer, Morkel and Swann. Asif and Aamer are banned atm.

well said.I am hardly Asif's biggest fan, but I would certainly have him over Zaheer every day of the week. That said, Zaheer will likely have a more meaningful career.
**** You Asif. YOu had a lot of talent and you ruined everything.
So we get to see Zaheer and co bowl first up
Not sure about that.
Maybe Dhoni should try sending someone else for the tossSo we get to see Zaheer and co bowl first up
Well, on a flat pitch you would expect a good batting side to bat well into day two. In any case, chasing a target, with the series on the line, will not be easy. Given South Africa's history of wilting under pressure, and the fact that the pitch is likely to take turn on days four and five, I want India to bat first. Not sure about that.
The curator said that it needed one day of full sunlight and don't think it got that fully today ,from what i can gather.
And batting on day 2 and 3 is always going to be the best.

That would be a very very risky move. We know that at least one fast bowler not named Zaheer will suck, and quite possibly both. And there's no way to know which one, so Zaheer could be the only fast bowler if India go with 2+2. I'd still pick 3+1, and back Harby to bowl a lot of overs if spin comes into play - maybe with Sachin or Sehwag bowling a few if needed.I wonder if India will consider playing two spinners.
Yeah, it would be risky, but with the Newlands wicket expected to be more batsman-spinner friendly than the previous two, it might be worth the gamble (Ishant Sharma has done little of note anyway). Ideally, I would like to see India play five bowlers (two spinners and three fast bowlers, Pujara out) as it is expected to be a flat pitch, but I know it is just wishful thinking on my part. Nah, if it is to be spinner friendly, we need Pujara in his specialist fielder position to take the plethora of catches coming his way off Harbhajan.Yeah, it would be risky, but with the Newlands wicket expected to be more batsman-spinner friendly than the previous two, it might be worth the gamble (Ishant Sharma has done little of note anyway). I hope we bowl first. That way, we cannot have the game lost after the first couple hours, which is when I tend to wake up.
