heheSimon Doull sums up today's commentary in one sentence during the first innings wrap.
"Adam Milne got it up to 151ks, so it was quality fast bowling."
Yes, quite.
McMillan over a montage of Milne getting smoked "Milne got up to 151ks, so it was quality fast bowling"
GTFO my TV you tit
He's only playing for experience though. No one is suggesting he should become a permanent fixture in the test first eleven. Stop creating straw men.Oh do shut up. It's perfectly reasonable to be critical of Milne. Regardless of whether or not he's 18, after his first over he bowled a load of old rubbish, and the constant "Aw, I think he's actually bowled really well" bull**** from the commentators was frankly ridiculous, particularly when he was serving up a bunch of length balls to Razzaq.
Kid belongs in domestic cricket. He's not ready for this yet, and the more people obsess about how fast he's bowled, the more they'll be likely they'll forget how badly he played and pick him to serve as more cannon fodder.
Yeah he did. He also bowled three ridiculously bad overs (his first over was good), each one worse than the last.Wait, did Milne really touch 151ks?
I'm hoping he meant quality pace, otherwise it's lolworthy.Craig McMillan sums up today's commentary in one sentence during the first innings wrap.

I'm not super pissed that Milne is playing or anything, but it rather begs the question- why is he a fringe/new player? He has no business being near the squad, really. He's only playing for experience though. No one is suggesting he should become a permanent fixture in the test first eleven. Stop creating straw men.
Nobody cares about this series much beyond experimenting with fringe/new players, not Pakistan, not NZ. I have no issues with the selectors trying out Milne, Woodcock and Brownlie.
huh?Yeah, horrible commentating.
At least Rameez Raja has a decent excuse for being awful.
lol, let it all out man, it's good for yaListening to our commentators it's so obvious why NZ has played so much dumb cricket over the years
I'm probably getting a bit negative now tbh
Yes he did. And for the Milne fans out there, at least you can cling on to the fact that as badly as he bowled, he still bowled far better than Southee did.
Ooh don't get me wrong I think that Milne being in the team is absolute bull****. It's just TH is always bitching about something, seems real grumpy. The fact that he is getting pissed off about people getting exited is rubbish, yeah he's bowling rubbish but he has something to build on which only comes naturally, imo you can't learn to bowl 150kph+ with training (although I feel a training technique will be discovered to allow this). So obviously people are going to get excited about his pace, but I agree he isn't bowling well at all.Oh do shut up. It's perfectly reasonable to be critical of Milne.
