Some incredibly stupid, annoying and boring comments being made on here today

Vicleggie, you'd do well to remember that Australia have literally 2 batsmen who are worth their place in the team atm and if someone other than Hussey and Watson doesnt start scoring runs, we're no chance in hell of drawing this series

-i've admitted ponting, clarke etc are grossly out of form, and that the difference between england and aus batting lineups so far are that england have 2-3 more batsman in form than us

-i never talked about the series, i talked about us beating them tomorrow.

love how people judge on here like its being broadcasted on sky sports. i'm just having a little fun here, none of you muppets are shane warne, ian botham, richie benaud or tony greigs, you're sitting infront of a computer making comments on a cricket match. dont judge me for what i say, i'll say what i want.

Well yes, I am fairly proud of that title.

Not quite sure why you censored a word not in the filter though ;)

Law of averages. johnson has been good for far more matches and has far more wickets.

was half joking. i just dont think swann is up with johnson
Sorry Vic. You're talking complete **** here. Assuming we're taking their batting out of it.

Swann has played 24 tests to Johnson's 40 tests.
Swann has more 5fers: 10 to 7
Swann has a lower average: 27.6 to 29
Swann is more economical: 2.93 to 3.27.
They both take their wickets at 4.6 per test.

Johnson's strike rate is slightly better than Swann's 53 to 56, but for a spinner, 56 is truly world class (Warne's was 57, Murali's was 55).

Swann is well and truly up there with Johnson. IMHO.

Fair suck of the sauce bottle mate.

Fair play to Johnson for coming back. Hopefully we can play him better next time.

I was hoping for more fight from us with the bat. Anyway, we do tend to come back well after we get beaten badly, so hopefully it'll be the same this time.
What he bowled was nigh unplayable tbh. You don't see blokes produce spells like that very often. If they did, most tests would last three days.

Lol... Quoting Pink?

Seriously?
Pink is quite the philosophical sage.

Important that we make Australia work for their wickets this morning.

Looking forward to the rest of the series though, this was undoutedly the best test for Australia as it neutralised the massive gap between the two sides which is the spin bowling. We still have a great chance of winning this series of that I have no doubt, but we have seen that both sides can dominate on any given test, was the same last year of course.

Must say though that things might be coming to an end of Collingwood, I have said this countless times before and he has always proved me wrong but if someone like Bell had gone through the run of scores he has of late then he would be coming under an awful lot of fire.

Would be awesome if we can make it to drinks in the afternoon with Prior and Bell at the crease.
