*Official* Third Test at the WACA

Had another thought actually. Damn we missed Broad. I mean I know the batting was so ****e that whatever our bowlers had done probs wouldn't have been enough, but I reckon Anderson, Broad, Tremlett would have been reeeally dangerous here. Broad probs would have done even better than Tremlett IMO, could've Johnsonned it if he got his length right.

If Broad was fit then the bowling lineup would have remained unchanged. Uncertain how England would have performed without Tremlett.

If Ponting's finger is broken what happens?

- If it is broken, he won't play the rest of the series. There's no way you can play with a broken digit.
- Hussey, not Clarke, will be appointed interim captain.

I hope Ponting plays, will be nice to watch him live at the MCG. Not really a bad thing either if he doesn't, would finally mean Khawaja gets a chance.

Just watching the highlights, lol at the 12th man not knowing what to do.

Pink is quite the philosophical sage.

Important that we make Australia work for their wickets this morning.

Looking forward to the rest of the series though, this was undoutedly the best test for Australia as it neutralised the massive gap between the two sides which is the spin bowling. We still have a great chance of winning this series of that I have no doubt, but we have seen that both sides can dominate on any given test, was the same last year of course.

Must say though that things might be coming to an end of Collingwood, I have said this countless times before and he has always proved me wrong but if someone like Bell had gone through the run of scores he has of late then he would be coming under an awful lot of fire.
Bell at 5 for the rest of the series, and blood James Taylor against Sri Lanka.

I'll be honest people, i had a really bad day yesterday. Quit my job and a lot of career uncertainty, so i spent literally thewhole day angry watching the cricket then sitting on here.

99% (ok maybe all) of what i said was absolute bull**** and overreactions. I'd like to start again.

Cheers.

Interesting interview with Chappell saying Clarke's not ready for captaincy- i suppose the transparancy is good, but why he'd do it now, when they're winning, is a mystery.

If only punter struck some rich form, and captained like he did yesterday, he could stay on for a bit. All i know is Clarke should not be anywhere near the captaincy in the near future.

What an awsome last few days to watch for an Australian fan, especially when watching the bowling. Brillant.

- Watson and Hussey are batting awsome at the moment. I was pretty devastated when Watson didn't reach his ton.

- I seriously reckon that Ian Bell can become one of the best batsmen in the world. Bell batting a 6 is just a wasted opportunity for England.

- If Ponting is injured, I personally want Khawaja in the team and he would bat in the top order. I can see Ferguson getting picked though for Australia, he already has two first class tons this season and I reckon if he tons up today in Adelaide then he might get the call up. It could be a huge innings for Ferguson today, as much as I love Ferguson, I'd rather have Usman in the line up. If Hughes keeps failing then Australia could possibley play both batsmen.

I hope Ponting isn't injured :(.

I still haven't seen the look on Watson's face when Clarke got out first innings...anyone have a link where I can find a replay?
