*Official* New Zealand in India 2010

You're being kind calling him a bowler. He's a "bowler".
I really, really hope he bowls significantly differently in First Class cricket because if he has 100 odd FC wickets @ 30 bowling darted straight breaks (quite literally) then something has gone very wrong with the world. I remember hearing something about him bowling leg spin at one stage.
tbh when I first saw him bowl a couple of years ago I came on here for a bit of a rant about what a ridiculously bad bowler he was. He doesn't even appear to be pretending to be a bowler. Great minds etc.

If New Zealand want an old injury-prone bowler who cbf bending his back anymore and thinks he's a batsman, they might as well just pick Franklin because at least he's managed to get it work in First Class cricket around the world. Tuffey still bats below Mills for Auckland.

Think I remember that. Might've even defended him on the count of being effective at the time. Since then though it seems international batsmen have figured out, to a large extent anyway, that he's basically bowling what McCullum would serve up and disguising it with something that vaguely resembles and off spinner's action.

Figure him out? You're giving him too much credit, tbh

Haha well early in his career he was shown far too much respect - batsmen played him like he knew how to bowl and he was pretty economical. They've figured out that he's just pretending now though.

Also I wish Munaf Patel would **** off for good. Hate his guts. Absolutely hate his face, his attitude, his ****ing lazy walk, his inability to field.

He's just ****. Feel like slapping him.
