I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Players I'll be keenly following this season:

Anaru Kitchen, the de Boorders,
Colin de Grandhomme, Ben Wheeler, Nick Beard, Darren Broom, Josh Brodie and now Trent Boult.
Also rooting for good ol' boys like Neil Broom, Craig Cumming, Luke Woodcock, Greg Todd, Rob Nicol and Michael Mason.

I don't rate Anaru Kitchen much. Not much different to Ingram, and Pinga scores more runs.

But Andrew de Boorder is one who quietly has a few backers. Never seen him play though.

If anyone could help me with the pace of the players that would be great. I'm giving anyone who has an average speed between 135-140 a RFM/LFM, 125-135 RMF/LMF and averaging over 140 RF/LF (though we won't have to worry about that). I'm reasonably sure they're all medium-fast pretty much.

Reckon we should get Waterboy to induce Ryder to join him in a drinking spree before the third Test TBH. Would be his greatest contribution to Indian Test cricket.

Raval the flat track bully phails again.

The Mug just hit an amazingly fast 50.

International 12th Man
Was at the Auckland v Otago game today.

Adams was the star for Auckland. The guy gets through his overs very quickly, shortish run up and is clearly quicker than anyone for Auckland. Sam Wells was looking exceptional until Adams managed to get him, and boy was Wells gutted to have gotten out - he took an age to walk off the field.

Butler was very good until he hooked one too often and then Wagner played nicely.

Tuffey - how can this guy bowl so slowly - honestly you see him lumber in and then lumber around the field as if he can't be arsed. But all of a sudden he'll drop a pretty quick bouncer in which has the batsmen and keeper really surprised. Call me baffled.

Wanted to stick around to see Wagner but Wendies was calling.

Lovely day for watching though.

Gah, the mug misses out on a century. And Wagner picks up 4 for not much. How long till he's available again?

Cricketer Of The Year
Neil Wagner finally starting to live up to the hype? He's had a insane start to the season it must be said.

September next year iirc.
