there should be informationAnyone have info on this Andre Russell guy. Cricinfo has nothing.
Quick bowler. Big hitting lower order batsman. Cricinfo has him listed to come in next for some reason but he'll bat nine and open the bowling.Anyone have info on this Andre Russell guy. Cricinfo has nothing.
The guy has a triple.gayle hits first double ton of his
How quick? Can he be a strike bowler like Jerome Taylor?Quick bowler. Big hitting lower order batsman. Cricinfo has him listed to come in next for some reason but he'll bat nine and open the bowling.
I've never seen him bowl, but apparently so. Genuinely impressed on a few tours with West Indies A. I'm really looking forward to the West Indies bowling innings for exactly this reason. How quick? Can he be a strike bowler like Jerome Taylor?
Think he's fairly sharp. Will be interesting to watchHow quick? Can he be a strike bowler like Jerome Taylor?
Oh shoot ..........my bad.....never thought Gayle would have stuck around for so longThe guy has a triple.
Thats actually his 3rd double hundred.Oh shoot ..........my bad.....never thought Gayle would have stuck around for so long
I dont know, he seems like a player like Jayasuriya. Has the ability to score massive knocks but might go out for a below par score every now and then as well. Thats just the way his game is. I think its the rest of the team that haven't been up to par for them so far. Certainly this might be a great opportunity to change things though.wow....didn't know that either........always seems to be wasting his talent Chris Gayle....could be a great player with a little more application
Agree completely. I think they were dying for an away series that didn't involve India though so I dont blame them for having the ODI series when they did.Congrats GAYLE!
Madness that SL have just gone to Australia to play 3 ODI's a week before a Test Series at home and are resting the best quick Malinga so he doesn't get injured for the ODI World Cup.
Yeah hindsight is a wonderful thing though I guess. If SL bat first, they too could have been in a dominant position and I wouldn't have made my comment. I have no idea what the conditions were like, I've been following the other 2 Tests!Agree completely.
