Shakib Al Hasan better than all of them, comfortably.Don't believe me?
Keiron Pollard
Adrian Barath
Kemar Roach
Mohmd. Aamer
Umar Akmal
Asad Shafiq
etc
I don't follow Pak and WI domestic cricket much but clearly right there I have given you examples of players that could easily replace most of BD Test players.
Which doesn't disprove my point, any of these youngsters can replace most of the current BD Test players.Shakib Al Hasan better than all of them, comfortably.
Phil Hughes, Usman Khwaja and Time Paine would all slot into the Pakistani line up. Therefore, Pakistan aren't Test standard.Which doesn't disprove my point, any of these youngsters can replace most of the current BD Test players.
Again it is not even an argument. Was just a reply to centurymaker's post.Pretty dodgy argument. Give me any test team in the world and I could probably find 6 or 7 players from around the world who could replace players in that team, because no one has a monopoly on talent.
Do you have any idea how many teenagers would've been inspired by their 4-0 win??
They're likely to unearth more talent in the near future. Their future looks more promising than West Inidies and Pakistan to say the least.
Lol how wrong you are. I can name many young WI and PAK players that have 10x more talent than the current Bangladeshi Test players.
As soon as you post that you've shown how completely and utterly out of touch you are with it.BD have shown no progress and are still dire.
Yer that's why they have only won 1 Test, against Zimbabwe too.(They have started improving over the last year this is in no way a "knee jerk reaction")
Yes but their performances have been improving. Take the series against England this year and compare it to Bangladesh 2005. I know which team is a hell of alot better.Yer that's why they have only won 1 Test, against Zimbabwe too.
And two against the Windies.Yer that's why they have only won 1 Test, against Zimbabwe too.
I am the only one here backing up my arguments and the rest of you are just saying they have improved without any reasoning what-so-ever.As soon as you post that you've shown how completely and utterly out of touch you are with it.
More like West Indies A.And two against the Windies.
Tamim Iqbal - One of the best young talents around.I am the only one here backing up my arguments and the rest of you are just saying they have improved without any reasoning what-so-ever.
They had Ashrafool who looked a great prospect when he got that 100 against Australia. Then he turns to trash. Improvement?Tamim Iqbal - One of the best young talents around, probably the 2nd or 3rd best opener currently in tests.
Shakib - 2nd best test spinner currently after Swann, the best bowling allrounder after vettori.
Junaid Siddique, Imrul kayes etc are doing decent as well.
Ain't this improvement for you? 2 damn good players and decentish middle order. Could bangladesh have dreamed this 2 years back?
