Been a good effort by India today to save the game, you wonder how things may have turned out had NZ had a fully fit attack though.

So have these two outplayed us, or NZ have had a few chances that they didn't take (ie dropped catch or a missed run out)? Just got home from work BTW, so I haven't been watching.

Think the worst thing we could do now is bowl them out. Would give India a chance at victory.
Once played in a club game where we tried hard not to get the last couple of batters out so that we didn't have to bat. I remember our coach giving cunning instructions to the bowler on the type of tripe that he wanted him to bowl. The key I remember was not bowling more than 2 of the same thing so that the other team didn't figure it out.

Did it work or did it backfire majorly?

The batsmen were fooled and hit us around. But the captain had a wiser head on his shoulders and declared after 15 minutes or so - so we had to face the music. We batted out for a draw.

I have to say this is actually starting to play into the hand of the New Zealand team, the long these two bat, the harder it will be for India to bowl them out. Where's Mark Richardson when you need him?

Laxman is starting to become India's equivalent of Bevan in ODI's, in the longer form. Amazing how often he bails us out.
