Quite obviously a ploy for Linda's senate campaign. One of the more recent polls has her getting trounced (but that seems out of line with the rest of them). It just seems a long way to go to appeal to an audience that (1) largely aren't going to be voting in Connecticut and (2) would probably vote for Linda based on the fact she's a McMahon anyway. For those who are dem voters, I can't imagine hyping up WWE's record on employment will help much.

I thought Bragging Rights was pretty good. Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler was absolutely amazing. It was brilliant technical wrestling that really showcased how talented these two are. Outstanding match from two very talented individuals.

Not sure whether I would've had John Cena and David Otunga win the WWE Tag Team Championships but it definitely furthers the angle between John Cena and Nexus. It looks like Undertaker is going to take a break until Royal Rumble or the Elimination Chamber next year before he comes back for Wrestlemania and faces either John Cena or Brock Lesnar.

Re Undertaker taking a break - that seems like what will happen, yet Survivor Series is his 20th anniversary in WWE. Odd.

Sounds like the PPV on the whole was very good actually. Not actually seen any of it, the booking of the main event has been getting an absolute panning in some circles though I see. Doesn't sound partciularly terrible to me, but does sound like a curious way to have things go.

Well your automatic response to a DQ finish in the main event is yuck, but in this instance it was logical. I wanted Wade to win though :(

I wonder if he might get a rematch on RAW tonight actually. Similarly, I wonder if we'll see Cena vs Orton vs Wade at the next ppv.

Brock Lesnar will not be 'competing' at Wrestlemania against The Undertaker. It simply will not happen. He is under contract to the UFC, and there is no way on Earth that Dana White will allow his biggest draw to risk injury and boost PPV sales for a company they'd consider to be a rival. It's a nice rumour, but that's all it is, a rumour. Brock Lesnar is committed to MMA, and sure, he lost his last fight, but he 'aint going anywhere. I'd be utterly stunned if Brock went back to the WWE. Taker was just stirring **** with his comments at UFC 121, and I think it was a pretty douchebag thing to do. Brock had just been destroyed in the biggest fight of his career, and then he has to put up with The Undertaker talking **** to him as he walks out of the Octagon. That's not on. He went down a lot in my estimations when I saw that. He might pull out some fancy Gogoplata's on guys that are letting him do it, but I'm not sure he'd be acting like such a tough guy if he was stood at the other side of the Octagon in front of Brock Lesnar. He's an absolute legend as far as the Wrestling community goes, but seriously, that's such a ****ty thing to do to someone.

You're right. Legally he can't do it. But it makes for a great news story though and can get some WWE fans dreaming. Plus I don't think you give Undertaker the credit he deserves. From all accounts he's a hell of a tough guy. I reckon there are only three wrestlers who could take Brock and that's Undertaker, a fully fit Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho. Sure they'd most likely lose but I still think they could take him on.

What dream world are you living in? Fully fit Kurt Angle might survive after getting his ass kicked, but Brock would kill the Undertaker, and Chris Jericho? Really? I love Y2J as much of the next man but he'd have as much chance of beating Brock Lesnar in a fight as aussie does at beating sledger in an exchange of verbals. Brock would use Jericho to pick food out of his teeth ffs. I don't even like Lesnar that much but he would literally rip Taker and Jericho's limbs off and cave their faces in, in under two minutes.

Reckon Jericho's like a tough pit bull to be honest. After reading his book, the guy has been able to hold his own in the Japanese strong style with bigger, stiffer opponents. Plus he took down a 265 pound Bill Goldberg backstage in a legit shoot fight. I absolutely believe Jericho would lose but think a scrappy Chris Jericho in his prime could take Brock Lesnar, granted he would lose and lose quickly.

I actually don't think you're giving Lesnar the credit he deserves, contrary to what you said to KP. For one, he's a two time NCAA Div. 1 wresting champion as the UFC likes to constantly remind us, secondly a former Heavyweight champion in probably the most demanding and brutal combat sport in the world, and he's a complete freak of nature athlete with a frankly ridiculous build. Not to mention that before his illness he had to actually cut weight to make the 265lb limit to fight at heavyweight. He ragdolled and completely brutalised several former champions, lifelong martial artists and guys that were at least comperable sizewise with him all while being relatively inexperienced with the sport. Taking some stiff kicks from Japanese pro wrestlers and shooting a takedown on an NFL player is not going to change the fact that it wouldn't be a fight at all, it would be manslaughter.

I'd have to agree regarding Jericho though, much as I love the guy, he just would not have a prayer against Lesnar in a legit fight. Tough as Jericho might be, Lesnar is an absolute freak and it wouldn't even be a contest. Would fancy someone with a proper amateur wrestling background more, someone like Shelton Benjamin etc...and I wouldn't exactly back him either.

Are these not entirely different things?
