Yup, given Bangladesh are on the verge of moving ahead of the WI in the ODI rankings, I don't blame you wanting to stay silent...you'd probably want to cheer for NZ in the last game as a Bangladesh win would likely see the WI ranked dead last

So much for the WC prep of the Black Caps.

I actually think that this has been very good WC prep for the Black Caps. A tough series that showed up a number of weaknesses in the team is much better prep than if the Black Caps had won the series easily against an under performing Bangladesh side.

NZ's performance in the second game played was woeful, but the other two games were close. NZ's overall performance has been sub par, but I don't think NZ has played as badly as some people think. They see 0-3 against Bangladesh and assume it's NZ that's to blame. From what I've seen, the series loss is more attributable to the excellent play by Bangladesh (especially Shakib), than it is to terrible play by NZ.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Bangladesh play in the WC. If Shakib maintains his incredible form and some of the other players can step up, they could knock over some big names. I'd love to see them make the semis.

To be fair, our test side is COMPLETELY different to our ODI one.

Ah...a much more accurate reflection of the true quality of the teams compared to the test rankings.

There is NO WAY Sri Lanka are a better test team than Australia.
