Well it's good to see that Bangladesh are starting to move up in the world (finally) with an ODI series win. I hope they enjoy their success, they earnt it.

Congrats Bangladesh.

I'm not too disappointed by the loss. The fact that Kane stepped up today and produced the goods at international level is a huge thrill. It's going to be a pleasure watching you for the next decade and a half, sir.
That's exactly how I feel. Williamson proving the hype was worth it was fantastic to watch, and it was such a gritty 100 too. Loving it.

The fact that he fell short of the target today might actually help him when he's in close games later in his career. The disappointment he's probably feeling right now might spur him on.

Just got back and checked out the score and went wtf. Was it as close as it looks on the scoresheet? Kane must have had the bangladeshis crapping their pants at one point

Congratulations..What a win!! What a player Shakib is... I feel bad for New Zealand but boy did Bangladesh deserve a series win.. They way cricket fans, commentators, analysts talk about them...its so hard for players to be confident..This is perhaps the most important achievement in their cricketing history, more so than the test victories against West Indies and Zimbabwe.

Maybe we should make the filter in stats guru that you count games against them at home.
Bangladesh have been a very good side at home for quite some time now. They almost beat New Zealand at home and almost beat Australia at home. Its amazing how people, especially fans on Cricket Web turn a blind eye to stuff like that and are just too happy to
add with disdain 'excluding Bangladesh and Zimbabwe'. I would say Bangladesh have the best spin attack at home in world cricket today after the retirement of Muralitharan..
And so much for Sehwag's spin playing prowess, he doesnt have one century in Bangladesh.

Even tho I'm no Fan of the IPL, I'd be geniually angry if an IPL franchise decide to overlook Shakib again in the bidding process.

If anything one of the NZ districts should pick him up for their T20 Competition
Shakib is fine without the IPL.. Look how badly it effected Hussey and Bollinger... Shakib is a special talent with the potential of being one of the all time great spinners of the world.. And he can achieve that feat without some dumb T20 cricket.

Now if only this was actually a test series which was originally planned..I would back Bangladesh to win a test match..

Congratulations to Bangladesh. This Shakib guy seems to be a pretty good find. I have not seen him play (because unfortunately so far I have not been following Bangladesh cricket) however Shakib's name keeps popping up on cricinfo every now and then.

Well done Bengal Tigers.

Bangladesh are the new Pakistan. Now they win one more match, they move above West Indies? I can bet them to make to the QFs in 2011 CWC, from there anyone's game. If pakistan won't get their act rite soon, its not too far their rank replaced by Bangladesh.
