Mwahahaha, beaten. Please don't avoid the filter Cricman.
(Should be in bed I got work in 7 hours) Bangladesh will be better off being patient. Mahmudullah doesn't need to force the issue, just chip a few singles to drive the score to 230, 240, or if they're good 250.It'll all turn to **** from here I think, Mahmudullah is terrible at playing expansively and forcing the issue.
We'll need a good contribution from Shuvo here.
He can do it; he just generally chooses not to - he just seems a pretty conservative guy rather than someone who doesn't have the shots. Which is just yet another reason to suggest that not batting him in the top five is stupid. It'll all turn to **** from here I think, Mahmudullah is terrible at playing expansively and forcing the issue.

Haha! I remember that innings, I was late to get to my sister's babyshower because of that innings. LOL !He can do it; he just generally chooses not to - he just seems a pretty conservative guy rather than someone who doesn't have the shots. Agreed! And there goes Mahmudullah now to Hamish Bennett! Even Naeem Islam could have done MUCH better in this situation *MEH*!Re: Mahmudullah
I was a bit hasty in labelling him terrible, he's had occasions when he's finished the innings off well, that one being a prime example and there were others when he was starting to establish himself in the side.
But there have also been numerous occasions when he's found himself under pressure to score quickly and managed to get completely bogged down, not because of caution but seemingly of a temporary inability to hit it out of the square. Not sure how well he deals with that pressure, particularly in T20s.
No arguement at all about him needing a promotion though.
Shuvo out. I have neither the words or the energy to articulate just how ****ing stupid our policy of taking PPs in the last five overs regardless of game situation really is.
Yeah, I've always thought it was worthwhile trying one of those two as a specialist 7 or 8. I gather Aftab is equally likely to blast 20 runs and get out doing something moronic no matter where he comes in.This where if Bangladesh could stick an Aftab or Ashraful at 6/7 to go after the bowing in the PP would be a great benifit
