So, is Georgey in line for a call-up? Or will Douglas recover?
If Doug doesn't play AUS chances of winning decreases. So i pray he is fit.

Just like the 08 IND tour, with Siddle before his debut. I for obvious reasons have never seen George bowl, so i cant back or condemn his selection. Do you think his style of bowling suits IND conditions?.

Since from the T20 match i saw Pattinson in during the CL for Vic. His pitch up style bowling, looks very suited to maybe getting reverse-swing. Which in past AUS test in 98, 04 & 08, we know for sure quicks will get it going irish @ that ground.

Oh well, one amazing Test this time of the year is more than anyone can ask for. Will have been a great tour even if the match gets rained out.

So it looks like George will play. So that breaks the streak of one test match were we played the same bowling attack...

Come to think of it. I think the last time we played the same four bowlers for three consecutive tests was the home tour against Pakistan... and I think we have to go back quite some way to see when we played the same four-man attack for four consecutive tests.

I was watching him in the nets at Lords before the Pak-Aus test in the summer, he looked very tall! Also seemed to be giving the batsman some trouble, who I presume was Khawaja.

Anyone know who the on-tour selectors are (I assume Ponting is one) as I want to know who to abuse when North is selected or the 2nd Test 8-)

Pretty tough test for Peter George. Don't quite think he is the finished product yet, but still has the ability to cause some damage at the higher level. Awkward bowler to face because of his height. Traps many batsman in two minds if to play forward or back. Not a bowler suited to India, but all the best as he deserves to play.

Also it's nice to see the return of the terrible tailender. George is about at the standard of McGrath 1995.

Obviously I'd rather see a result, even if it's a loss, but India blow chunks at Bangalore so this might be their best chance at keeping the lead.

The overcast conditions should help the Indian bowlers more than the Aus bowlers with the exception of Hilfenhaus.
