Refer to PEWS' posts during that time tbh.Thought I saw Bolly and Johnson both reverse it in the first dig.

Haha the commentators did over-do it massively with the calls of reverse swing, but they did both get it to go, at times.Refer to PEWS' posts during that time tbh.
Dunno if you were refering to me, but I never explicitly said to replace Hilfenhaus with Smith, and I also wasn't expecting the pitch to be as it is now.Nah, drop one of them for a batting allrounder who bowls a bit of leg spin. Herp derp etc etc.
What, when the commentators were saying it was reversing but it was seaming? Nah, was definitely some reverse. The balls that got Dravid, Dhoni and Zaheer went with the shine.Refer to PEWS' posts during that time tbh.
It was definitely reversing but not late reverse swinging as Zaheer was getting to do it.............What, when the commentators were saying it was reversing but it was seaming? Nah, was definitely some reverse. The balls that got Dravid, Dhoni and Zaheer went with the shine.
Didn't get it going as consistently as someone like Zaheer, but.
Yeah, but Dhoni and Zaheer went after 100 overs and Dravid was gone after 60 overs. I was just saying they won't be getting early reverse swing. What, when the commentators were saying it was reversing but it was seaming? Nah, was definitely some reverse. So close to snaring Zaheer in the dying overs so I really hope he'll be on songBollinger definitely capable of reverse swing on demand when the conditions suit.
Johnson - who knows. He's capable of basically anything, whether he can deliver is another matter.
Yeah that second last over he bowled (where Katich "dropped" Zaheer) was a gem, and deserved a wicket for sure.So close to snaring Zaheer in the dying overs so I really hope he'll be on song
That would ruin my Watson MOTM bet; I would not be impressed. If Tendulkar wins India this game, considering his 98 in the first Innings and the situation atm, It might well be his best test batting performance IMO.
get out you negative nellyI can just see India adding 40 runs before Zaheer gets out tomorrow.
Ya hope for the best... Dhoni shud step up now.... of late he is in poor form....If Tendulkar wins India this game, considering his 98 in the first Innings and the situation atm, It might well be his best test batting performance IMO.
Great call tbh. Didn't expect him to bat half as impressive as he did. That would ruin my Watson MOTM bet; I would not be impressed.
I'd never call for someone to be dropped on the basis of one game, tbh, especially if it was just an inconsistent game rather than an downright terrible one. If Sreesanth was recalled next game and did that I'd want him retained as he'd deserve more than one game to settle a place. This last game is just the most recent a long line of poor performances that'd make me drop Sharma for Sreesanth - that and the fact that Sreesanth was really good against Sri Lanka and then got injured. If Sree played, leaked 7 runs per over in the first Innings, then left the pitch with injury issues, came back in the second Innings, took a couple of wickets bowling pus, then had a good inspired spell of bowling, ultimately ending up with three wickets at about 40 each to show for his efforts this game, then claimed the injury issues still persisted, not to mention bowled over 9000 no balls, for his sake and the team's, I'd leave him out in the next game, I reckon'.
