What do we think the plan for Australia is here?
I imagine they will look to bat normally until tea, hope to be no more than 4 down and around 180-200 odd ahead, then looking to accelerate after tea. Assuming they don't lose a bundle of wickets, can anyone see them doing anything different to that approach?
I'd imagine Ponting wants 330-350 mimimum. The ground is not huge, outfield lightning fast and the wicket still generally decent enough. I don't think he would declare tonight at all unless someone goes nuts, given the easiest scoring time for batsmen in all three digs has been with the new ball, and that means Sehwag late in the day giving India bulk momentum going into tomorrow..
