*Official* Pakistan in England 2010

Nice for the Paksters, but win the toss wins the game wasn't it? Well bowled Umar and all that, but he's not looked like doing anything all summer until under the lights in mid September. Still, keeps the series alive, I suppose.
Yes, I think Strauss was being a bit generous, when he said it was the same bowling conditions for both sides, anyone that watches Surrey or previous England games from the Oval at night, knows it can be a nightmare to bat under lights.

I wonder if England will bring Bell back in for the final 2 games,he's still in great form and with it being the last 2 games of the summer,it would make sense.

Credit where it's due tonight for Umar Gul's bowling, he's not looked the threat that he can be in the series so far, but he came good today. and how. He was getting the ball to seam about at very handy pace, but his accuracy was there too. The ball that dismissed Bresnan was an absolute beauty.

As for England, they recovered well after a shaky-ish start, thanks to the partnership between Morgan and Wright. And it was when Morgan fell, picking the man out at deep backward square when he was in little trouble, that it all began to go wrong.

Wright did well. but in the end lacked any support from the lower order. Swann's was a real loose one, but I suppose they'll say that's how he plays. Thing is, the ball before he was out, he left a ball with good judgement, sensible when the main threat had only one firther ball to go, then he played at a wide one he could have left comfortably.

However, it shouldn't really fall on the number 10 and 11 to knock off a very chaseable total. Yes they have a role to play, and you would suggest better than they did tonight, but ultimately the top order should be making light work of what was set.

Morgan is going to be a star. I feel so sorry for English players having to face this shower.

And England then applied the perfect end to Bell’s day by calling him up for the final two one-day internationals at Lord’s today and the Rose Bowl on Wednesday in place of Paul Collingwood.

I think they meant to say at Lords tomorrow (Monday)

Hopefully that is the end of Bopara. To think he has played over 50 ODI.

Hopefullly it isn't. Hopefully it's the end of Bopara at 3 or 4, and the end of Luke Wright. Bell in at 4, with Ravi down at 6 TBH.

I hope not. I am a fan of Bopara, but right now I think Wright looks more composed and a lot more likely to finish a match off for us at number 6 than Ravi.

Surely you don't need either?

Strauss
Davies
Trott
KP
Colly
Bell
Morgan

Granted Colly and KP getting through a full ten is dodgy, but specialists>weakening the batting with Luke Wright or Ravi.

Do you guys have an honest County genuine allrounder who could do a job? Hearing decent things about Yardy.
