Just what Australian sport needs, football snobbery a la England.
Where did that come from?

Besides most English association teams are as old as the hills. From memory I'd say only Wigan out of the current top flight are less than a century old.

Fantastic first qtr of finals footy. Sydney obv better, but we haven't let them break away by too much yet...

Like the look of Henderson.
Improved heaps since the start of the year when he was sluggish, soft and couldn't take a mark to save his life. He's still a big work in progress but it's certainly looking like we won the Fev deal.

Our defence against tall forwards is the absolute pits. Jamison and Bower look absolutely hopeless when the ball is in the air.

Thought I was remarkably restrained actually. The kids learnt some new language just before when it looked like you guys might get up.

But seriously mate, too bad.

We're going to win tomorrow tbh.
Sorry, do not engage in banter with supporters of sides that have been around for less than 100 years.
We'll beat you as well. You've have a 25% w/l record against us in the past four years. We were even beating you when we were finishing bottom two.
Carlton a very very good chance at ANZ.

Just saying.

What an effort from Judd. Amazing premiership quarter.

Judd... WAFG though. Seriously, amazing player.

**** off Matt.

Judd is an absolute superstar, no doubt, but jeez he should have kicked that goal.

Waite though, that miss... and a whole lot of other misses and dropped marks in the forward line... Carlton will rue them for a long time.

Yeah, at the same time Syd missed quite a few very easy ones especially in the first quarter that had they kicked them there was no coming back for us, so I think it all evens out in the end. At the end of the day the more experienced side won.

Still very proud of the way we came back, and finishing the year a kick away from the semis is a great achievement seeing as how some said we'd be back to bottom four without Fev.

Next year with Kruezer coming back, he'll play in the forward line so it'll be a huge plus with Warnock gunning the ruck and if we can get a tall defender I really think we can go one better.

As for the rest of this series, the only thing that matters is:

Sure that's true, but it's a whole different context when there is 15 minutes left and you've kept the Swans goalless for 1 1/2 quarters. You just knew the Swans were going to come.

But yeah great effort from Carlton last week to come back, and this week too. Twice been a kick away from a semi in two years.

Don't really know if it's a guarantee that Kreuzer is going to be worth it as a forward. I think that we've seen through guys like Simmonds, Ottens, Gardiner that these ruckmen/forwards are better off being played as genuine ruckmen first. Jacobs and Hampson aren't that good.
