Huge stakes tonight. The winner gets the week off and goes through to the Dogs, Sydney, Carlton side of the draw.

The loser plays Hawks/Dockers next week, and if they get through that will likely need to beat the Pies to even make the GF.

Was at the game tonight.

SO HUGE!

What a finish. Controversial stuff. Cats fans were cracking it!

Was a push in the back, but can understand the Geelong fans who could say it was wet weather and their should be a bit of leaniency afforded. Reckon the better team on the night won though.

Great game, the skills were so good for the conditions. Real finals stuff.

There's an ad with Jim Stynes talking about the proud 150 year history of the Melbourne Football Club.

****ing joke. Be like me doing an ad for Parramatta saying they've been around 102 years when they came in the comp in 1947. Does **** me the way the AFL talks about it's 150 year history. Be like the ICC saying test cricket has been going since te 1500s. Dunno why they feel the need to do it tbh. Fine enough game without gilding the lily.

Just what Australian sport needs, football snobbery a la England.

Carlton are ****ed, end of. The Blues FMD, give me a break. It's a ****ing black jumper. Travesty Judd ever went there.

But the club as an entity existed before the VFL/AFL did. Best sticking to stuff you know about Burgey.

Loving this weekend of footy so far. If Carlton lose tomorrow, everything will have gone exactly how I would have hoped. So funny tonight, was sitting in a predominantly Bulldogs patch of the crowd, and the transition from them ripping into the umpires and being all bullish to hanging **** on their own players and getting sulky took all of about five seconds near the end of the first quarter.

Amazing how completely Brad Johnson has gone from the AFL's version of Bambi to panto villian.

Pies were ace tonight - now for the prelim. Hopefully Freo can do the right thing and take out the Cats, because yet another prelim against them doesn't sound fun.

Won't beat the Cats in two weeks.
