Great interview Ajmal..

Dont worry too much about Warne and Nasser.. They only speak one language in the world so its not like they are the most cultured people in the world
Haha, what? Not sure how Warne and Nasser were being condescending at all. Or how knowing only one language suddenly makes you uncultured.

No, they were definitely laughing at his English. The point is, he doesnt need to know English..its not his mother tongue, nor is it a requirement in his country. He is here to play cricket and he did a decent job of it.

And no, there is nothing wrong in knowing only one language..but if someone who knows only one language but has the nerve to mock someone who can actually speak 2 languages (Urdu and Punjabi), then there is definitely something wrong with that

They weren't laughing at his English at all, they were laughing at his bluntness like the rest of us.

Haha yeah exactly. They were laughing at what he was saying, now how he was saying it.

Yeah, they speak to poor English speakers all the time and they don't crack up and in general I would call both of them two of the more "cultured" commentators on the circuit, particularly Warne post-IPL. It's clearly the content that's humorous.

Definitely laughing at his English? I don't know which interview you watched, but the interview I just witnessed was everyone (including Ajmal) having a laugh at the open frankness of the interview.

What a refreshing character. I get so sick of interviews of the "yeah I batted well, but it's more important that THE TEAM plays well tomorrow". I enjoy a cricketer who is honest and shows a bit of personality.

Why would he go and do the interview if he didn't know he couldn't speak english? It was awesome... Not like Inzamam used to say where we just stayed to see him talk... It is all in good fun, acknowledge it and respect it...

Various Pakistani news channels are reporting that Zulqarnain Haider has suffered an injury and might be out 2-3 weeks. That ofcourse would mean the return of Kamran butterfingers Akmal to the team.

Does Nass only speak one language? Was born in (as was) Madras & his dad is Indian, after all.

His bluntness in the interview was caused by his lack of command of the English language - if he had've been more fluent he could have measured his words better. Thought they could have cut him more slack.
