*Official* Pakistan in England 2010

In all fairness, it isn't just England's fault that this situation has arisen (for what it's worth, I'm in favour of England staying out there, tedious as this is). The captaincy and bowling choices from Salman Butt has been perplexing.

So the century and the declaration now. Will be funny to see some reactions here if Pakistan is 65-0 at close of today's play.

Prior finally gets to his century. Superb innings; the last 6 or 7 runs have been painful to watch but he got there in the end.

Strauss calls 'em in too, which begs the question as to why Prior was handing 5 balls an over to Finn if he knew Strauss'd call them in as soon as Prior reached three figures.

It won't matter if they're 65-0 at the end of the day, they're not chasing 430 on this deck, with this batting line-up, in these conditions.

Well done Prior a very good 100 on a difficult wicket, well done to Finny for helping him get there. That's that, lets see if the bowlers can get a few this evening.

They're chasing 430 on a pitch with variable bounce, in perfect conditions for swing bowling and on a deck that is sure to offer some assistance to Graeme Swann. They're not going to win. Might as well give ourselves an extra 12 overs to bowl at them tonight.
Then you have nothing to worry about...
