You know what, I reckon Ravi Bopara's in some handy form ATM. That straight six went a mile. Love watching him bat when he's in this sort of form.

Good god this is insane last-over hitting.

Is this the same player who last year made every effort to guide the ball to slips and gully?

Well Bopara has single-handedly made up for the whole middle order.

What a shot that is. Dropped the ball before, and he follows it up with a beautiful six straight over long on. Brilliant death batting from Ravi Bopara, has propelled us upto the score it looked like we were going to get when Strauss and Trott were there. I don't see why Wright gets picked ahead of him TBH. Ravi wouldn't bowl many fewer overs, and is miles better with the bat. Get him in at 6 to finish off the innings I reckon.

Lovely stuff from Ravi there.

Reminds you think he might actually have some talent when you see shots like that...

Will have to watch some 2009 ashes to see the flip side.

You can see it happening, especially given some of his bowling figures this season.

In reply to Pothas's post.. There is a bit of a difference though between Shafiul and Mitchell Johnson/Peter Siddle/Hilfenhaus
