I think he's a bit underrated as a captain, he did so much to turn England around and make us competitive again.

Pataudi be seriously under-rated IMO. The dude was a test class batsman with ONE EYE!!!

Dennis Lillee (1949-)

Among the world's best bowlers for a 15-year career
Broke Lance Gibbs' record of most Test wickets, despite nearly two years in WSC
10/127 against West Indies at Melbourne in 1981, helping a 58-run win; West Indies only drew the series after Lillee broke down

C. B. Fry (1872-1956)

Only person to hit six consecutive first class centuries, with two against county champions Yorkshire

Think I have to go with Lillee. Great bowler and cricketing icon. One of the many great ocker bowlers with "Keith" as a first name too.

Very harsh pitting him against Lillee really.

No-one has approached Fry's all-round sporting achievements. Equalled the world long-jump record, scholarship to Oxford, played in the FA Cup Final, twice (retrospectively) Wisden's Leading Cricketer in the World, male model. What a life.

Would go for Fry but struggle with his politics so if Burgey can vote for Jardine I really ought to be able to go for Lillee

Yes fair point. AER Gilligan was another Sussex great with suspect politics. And Fry did bugger off to Hants which just isn't on. That said, I doubt that DKL's politics are much cop either.
