Love Nasser to bits, but it's Lord Jardine of Mumbai for me. The kinda bloke that makes it seem not so very implausible that this piddling little island once had dominion over a quarter of the globe.

Dravid 20
Hogg 6 no wild card
White 1 Collingwood vote
Given more time, Hogg could have got a wildcard, couldn't he? I'd have voted for him due to his careless disregard for modern hairstyles and it looks like Ben would have. A couple of others, and he'd have been there?

As for this one. I used to be a big fan of Nasser Hussain, until he refused to play a swansong game for Essex in order to complete his ascendancy to the commentary box in as swift a time as possible. -1 Nasser Hussain.

Well, yeah, but there would also have been more votes for Dravid, I'm thinking.

If you're as far down as to be knocked by mercy rule you don't really stand a chance in the wild card round (only 16 make it through from that and as it stands it'll be made up of about 60).
