Wherever you put him he just can't score above 100 SR or last more than 15 balls. It is not as if he is getting out slogging.

Seriously Yuvraj has largely been **** this IPL. He is getting out playing some extremely silly shots which is not pardonable for a man of his seniority. Seriously if his lack of application is due to him being relieved of captaincy, then that's unprofessional.

Nope he was pretty ok (340 runs @ 29 @ 116) and his bowling also was effective.

It was 3 hours ago and Sreesanth was sledging some of the Royals giving them lip service.

Don't like Sreesanth getting to sledging because it is something he cannot control himself. But Smith's tweet has been truly unprofessional and as if he is seeing such stuff for the first time. Hypocritic a bit.

Nice to see Lumb get a few runs, and actually look a good player today. Shame he didn't go on and make a big score, but it was a promising innings, and got the Royals off to a much needed good start. Still convinced he's good enough to have a good tournament, rate him highly.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the England players turn out, especially Pietersen. He's finally found some form, and played excellently in his last 2 T20 games for England. Would love to see him come in for RCB and smash a few runs.

Yes, finally looked at home. He was great against pace bowling. Still the moment spin was brought, he was all at sea and was promptly stumped second ball.

Pretty hard to judge him looking all at sea against spin on the basis of 2 deliveries. He missed a big sweep, but the shot was on, and then was unfortunate to drag his foot out 2nd delivery. Whenever I've seen him play for Hampshire he's looked decent against spin, not as good as he is against pace, but he's never looked a mug against spin when I've seen him. I think if he has another good season for Hampshire this year he could definitely be in contention for England, just looks a class player at the crease, it's a shame it's taken him till the age of 30 to find some consistent form.
