Cook is 25 (and 77 days), has nearly 4000 runs and averages 44. His debut was 4 years ago. Someone at Cricinfo claims that today, Cook has gone past Collingwood, Imran Khan, Flintoff and Hussey.Fine innings from Cook...as I said earlier in this thread before, I would like to see double ton from him
Why declare at lunch? Is a halfwitted chimp captaining the side?Look a good innings from Cook, two sixes aswell he's going a little overboard tbh.
Always been suprised by the lack of sixes he hits for someone who pulls as good as him. Slog sweep seems to be working well for him lately, though.
Shame KP didn't get 3 figures but decent score nonetheless.
Hopefully Colly and Cook accelerate tomorrow and declare around lunch.
Indeed. We are playing a weakened team: Bangladesh.Hope England get trounced for playing such a weakened team.
Sawn off at the knees more like. Woeful decision. Missed it by inches. Think Hill was surprised a ball got up that high.Trott a tad unlucky there...no referrals in this series? Still we had our fair share during the ODI's

Thanks to England playing more tests than any other nation, Cook if he continues to keep his form can go play 200 test matches and score a tonload (possible even more than Tendulkar).Cook is 25 (and 77 days), has nearly 4000 runs and averages 44. Looks quite impressive! Not too many batsman with that amount of test runs at that age.
Putting England in to bowl first is probably Bangladesh's best chance at bowling 4th.Horrible, horrible insertion tho. Must've been done out of sheer funk because it makes literally no sense. As social said, why fill up on twirlers and then pass up the chance to bowl 4th?
As well as being a tactical cretin Shakib looks a pretty bloody ordinary bowler too considering all the wraps he's had on him.
Unfair on Shakib, he is a very talented young cricketer who really does not need the added weight of captaincy. As well as being a tactical cretin Shakib looks a pretty bloody ordinary bowler too considering all the wraps he's had on him.
During the last few matches at Chittagong this pitch has turned on days one and two before turning into an absolute road by day 5. Most notably against New Zealand when we spun them out in the first dig and then watched them stonewall their way to a draw on day five. Obviously hasn't panned out like that this time.Indeed.
