*Official* England in Bangladesh

Stapel

International Regular
To make this match just slightly interesting, Bell and Collingwood have decided to increase the run-rate.

Urgh Kayes is cringeworthy. Either open with Siddique or Nafees. Kayes has never done a thing at Test level.

Hope Tamim gets in the runs.

Indeed. We are playing a weakened team: Bangladesh.
Definitely some shocking captaincy from Shakib but in spinning conditions at home which Bangers traditionally has they can be a handful.

Also with 3 or so handy batsman.

Reckon they should be very disappointed with their effort.

That was painful to watch. Terrible, terrible batting.
Quite a few posters have been calling for his head for quite some time. Particularly in the Test team. Isn't a Test opener by any stretch of the imagination. Potentially the worst of all time.

Norwood's on Fire
Well, there were plenty calling the likes of me arrogant when we said there was no reason not to play a weakened team. Okay, there is a lot of time left here and another Test to go, but really it was a simple case of pragmatism.

The England batting lineup looks a lot more solid with Bell at 6, especially when Strauss returns

Have to have another look at that one, looked like it might have come straight off the pad on first glance, Aftab may have been unlucky

Tamim batting like a God at one end and gutless wonders at the other.

In other news he may be the 3rd batsman 20 years old or younger to cross the 1000 Test run barrier.
28 more runs needed (60)

cricinfo reckon that Finn is hitting 90mph, which is slightly faster than I'd been led to believe he was capable of. I'd give him a bit more protection in his first spell in test cricket to help exert a bit more pressure.

Denied the chance to watch the cricket on Sky because I am forced to put Peppa Pig on the TV to keep the girls quiet.

First impressions of Finn, anyone? His pace seems pretty good, up over 90mph pretty regularly.

6'7" + 92mph + 20 years old = a big prospect, assuming he can bowl with any degree of accuracy and can get a bit of movement.
