Being serious?Kyles, just out of interest. Are you Mark Cleary?
Yeah agree with what you said there really..was just annoyed when I made that post before, just abit sick of the Adelaide oval being slow and flat half the time. If the SCG can prepare a greenish pitch so can the SACA' though. Not a huge believer in home game advantage at Shield level. Especially when it comes to pitch conditions. Don't think any of the Shield teams gain a huge advantage from home pitch conditions.
The only reason teams play better at home is due to familiarity and lack of travel required. Turning the South Australian pitch into a greentop will only nullify the one major asset South Australia has in Klinger.
Question, how do you turn the Adelaide Oval into a green top? It's 37 degrees in Adelaide today. Flat, slightly turning wickets is what they do best given the conditions.
Nah was joking mate. Just noticed you had mentioned him a fair few times!Being serious?
Lol I wish mate......nah I'm deafinately not.
Indeed.Honestly, SA have to find a way to keep Ludeman in the side, even as a specialist bat. Ballsy player with a bit of spark, something SA sorely needs if they're going to get over a team like Victoria provided they make the final. Not sure exactly who should miss out, possibly Borgas. I think SA would benefit from having Kane Richardson in too, seems to be on the surge form-wise. Would have him in ahead of Putland, tbh.
Injured I heard.Anyone know why Hazlewood didn't bowl in the first innings? Fair effort from O'Keefe to bowl so many overs and get good figures.
Admittedly haven't seen a lot of him but what I've seen, has a bit of Adam Dale about him bowling. Reckon he'll take heaps of SS scalps.Copeland with SUCH a good start to his State career. Fantastic to see him replicate his good form for St George.
Yeah, had a side strain according to Cricinfo. Fair effort to come back and take 2/11 off 10 though. Really rate him highly.Injured I heard.

Yeah the NSW 'back up' bowlers aren't too bad are they.Yeah, had a side strain according to Cricinfo. Fair effort to come back and take 2/11 off 10 though. Really rate him highly.
I don't think the selectors can pick their bowling attack based on reliability with bat. Surely you just pick your best 3 quicks, and if they suck at batting, so be it, but you have to back your batsmen to make the runs. Whether or not those 3 guys are the best bowlers (I'm not convinced they are) is another story, but I don't think you can pick them based on runs scored at say number 9.Now, can we please stop picking Bailey as the specialist spinner? And, if you're going to bat O'Brien at 6, picking three number 11's strikes me as a bit reckless. Ludeman aside, longest tail in the country.
