England 34/2 early on. Hoping Vince goes well here.

Great to see three Hampshire players in the side, looking forward to watching Briggs later.

Anyone see that catch that was taken by the English skipper that he claimed but the umpires overturned? Thought he caught it myself, as did the commentators.

Haha, 2/16 as well.

EDIT: Just realised that he plays for Durham; Scaly will be calling for him to get an ODI callup within the next six months.

How long before the Stokes is hyped as the next Flintoff then?
Haha was actually thinking of that. He's bowling a pretty decent pace, pretty sure I saw him get up to 137K.

Edit: He was born in New Zealand, when did he move to England?

Just realised that this is one of the few games live on Fox Sports, and I've pretty much missed the whole thing. Dire. :p

Anyone with Stoke's accent is english IMO.

The most interesting thing for me has been the dominance of left arm fast men during the tournament. Every team seems to have one.

Like the look of Rafiq as a bowler. Commentators seemed to think he was a lollypop bowler when he first came on but he looks a genuinely good young offie to me.

In the few games I have seen I have been really impressed with the standard of bowling. Nothing dramatic but accurate and good seam position. I remember my time at this age and whilst I was no doubt quicker than what I have seen here I was nowhere near as polished or professional as these guys (though of course I didnt play at this level). Overall I think it they all look like 'real' top level cricketers. It actually looks a high level of cricket to watch.

Bates looking tidy behind the stumps, couple of excellent takes for the stumping apeals, did a good support job with the bat as well. Encouraging for us as Pothas will not go on forever.

Yeah. This match anyway has been REALLY good quality.

Rafiq gets a wicket, he's done really well here. This pitch offers nothing to spin.
