Bloody England.

Well done Onions again and now we can congratulate Ian Bell, great job.

Loving this series, more exciting than the ashes was for me.

We cannot lose this series. CAN YOU HEAR ME PEOPLE. WE CANNOT LOSE IT.

BECAUSE WE ARE ENGLAND, AND WE'RE AWESOME

Blimey.

I don't know why I put myself through this.

I may instead follow darts, support Phil "the Power" Taylor, and relax safely in the knowledge of a win.

delayed declaration by smith ???
Nah, I think it was the right call. England only needed 3.3rpo or something to win when he declared, so he couldn't have really declared much earlier. I actually thought an England win was more likely than a draw but I forgot to take Paul Collingwood into consideration.

The only (i mean ONLY!) time I have ever bet on darts was a bet on Phil Taylor and he lost.

Was ****ing cut.

England strike rates make for humorous reading. Everyone is comfortably under 50, then there you have Swann, 125.00

Also, someone noted the other day that no Saffa batsman averages under 10, the same is also true of us

Batting 141+ overs in the 4th innings in the past 30 years and not losing

England 351/5 (165.0 ov) draw v South Africa Johannesburg 30 Nov 1995
England 307/6 (146.4 ov) won v New Zealand Christchurch 14 Feb 1997
Bangladesh 285/5 (142.0 ov) draw v Zimbabwe Dhaka 14 Jan 2005
England 296/9 (141.0 ov) draw v South Africa Cape Town 3 Jan 2010

(Australia used to be the experts but haven't done it since 1971...possibly because they don't nee 141 overs to win  )

Don't agree with Smith as MOTM tbh. Sure his innings was very good, but Bell's was far more important as far as the result of the match was concerned. Not too fussed though, least we didn't lose =D
