*Official* Pakistan in Australia

Yaya, pressure on Hussey and Siddle especially to score runs this morning could have changed things.

That being said, a lot of things done slightly differently could have changed things.

Somewhere in Peshawar Younis must be laughing hysterically. He asked for Misbah omission for the NZL bound team and had favoured Fawad Alam.He had also selected Sarfraz for the squad to keep Kamran on his toes while there were rumours he had a big argument over Farhat's inclusion.

Mate, lets face it.....Pakistani team does not deserve Test Status. Lets be very serious and frank about this. These players are a bunch of clowns....remember the old days when people used to throw rocks at Akram's or Waqar's or Inzi's or Saleem's homes after losing to India, I say burn down PCB/Selectors homes this time around...

You know i don't blame our players. They simply can't compete at this level. Akmal/Misbah/Farhat/Butt/Faisal are not Test level players.....we have to blame those who put them in the Test team and expect results....

Simply heart broken.............

Faisal1985 is a joke, fans like you simply are a reason why you dont have a good team despite the unbelievable talent in your country.

If you were Hussey would it be worth retiring now on a high? Ave still above 50, winning series, everyone loves him again. Best time to go out. Suprised how much he's aged over the past few years as well, looked 45+ at the interview today.

Pathetic post.

Will put aside the sentiments for the moment. I simply don't think Pakistan players are Test material. Plain and simple....

Nah hs "steel" is still needed in a middle-order that has been collapsing way too often since 07/08, especially with Ponting not at his best. Mr.Cricket ATM still is safe until the Ashes later this year..

Pakistan has nobody to blame but their own complete utter incompetence. Their top order is worse than Bangaldesh's. I am glad Pakistan didn't pull it off because it would be a farce with such a batting lineup for test cricket. Select some batsmen and not mediocre guys who are in there just because of ugliest nepotism. Chuck out Faisal Iqbal, Misbah Ul Haq, Kamran Akmal and Imran Farhat and bring in Fawad Alam, Younis Khan (somehow), Sarfraz Ahmed, and Imran Nazir (he atleast plays shots). Sami looked the one innings fluke and is well back to the 50s average where he belongs. This Pakistani team is perhaps the worst I have seen touring Australia.
Hey Sanz, this is how a Non-Pakistani would write what i wrote in my post.....

Hussey's form is hitting at the right time, and I hope he produces many more innings like this one, even if he doesn't maintain a high average. We need some maturity in the middle of the order. If Hussey has got his mojo back we'll be fine.

Despite his most recent innings, I think "steel" is a bit generous given his general form.
