Randy Savage was such a genius. Got his DVD set for Xmas. Watching one of my fave matches ever, Macho King V Ultimate Warrior from WM 7, it's magic. I think Savage-Flair is next, which is even better. One of the greatest of all-time, Savage.

Ooooh yeah!

Hey any Australians able to tell me what times the wrestling shows are on on Fox 8, and what are they? When I stopped watching it was still just Raw and SD

Also when does Bret return?

That the title match from WM VIII? If so, that's an epic match. Loved that whole PPV, had it on video when I was into wrestling about 10 years back. Taker vs Jack the Snake, Bret Hart vs Roddy Piper, HBK vs Tito Santana, Hogan-Sid and then Flair-Savage. Awesome.

Yeah that's the one, and it is a very good Mania. Flair-Savage should have closed the show though.

The IC match is amazing as well as you say.

Yeah, really should have main evented the show, the Hogan-Sid match was very meh iirc. Love the fact that have just read about it, that Shango was supposed to interfere in the match after Hogan landed the leg drop, but missed his cue, meaning Sid had to improvise and kick out instead :L
Apparently Flair was quite clearly seen on camera blading during the match with Savage and fined several thousand dollars, can't say I noticed it when I was watching the video aged 9 though :p Still an epic match all the same.

Yeah he was fined for blading on camera and blading too deep. I looked out for it yesterday but I am quite crap at finding things like that/

Fair enough. Did look pretty epic though, Flair looks quality with abit of blood. The way it gets into his hair and makes him look like a madman is brilliant. Awesome match; I do remember enjoying Hart-Piper as much, even as a youngster I appreciated that match. Used to love Wrestling back in the day, fell out of love with it fairly soon after the Invasion storylines. The Ministry of Darkness storyline is still one of my favourites of all-time, I remember being genuinely scared of The Undertaker when I was 8 or 9 :p

Hart vs. Piper was so so good.

And tell me you didn't mark out as a kid when Warrior came in at the end of Hogan/Sid! :p

I am Jack's complete lack of surprise...

As Fake a Hug You'll ever see, Vince needs to come to his senses ... You Can milk Bret and Shawn all the way to WM and than some.

Vince needs to kill himself off TV again

Awesome seeing so many Bret marks in the house. Loved the boos Shawn and the handshake got. Can see this being dragged out a bit for a massive Mania swerve. Can't wait, love you Bret. So good to see him back on TV.

EDIT: Just saw the ending. Just what I wanted tbh, Bret-Vince with a bit of crossover from the Hbk-Taker feud.

Best Raw that I have ever had the privledge of watching. Been watching Raw religiously from 1998 to 2001 and then from 2007-present and it comfortably outdid each of those shows, with the possible exception of two in 1999 - The Mankind title win and the Vince revealed as the Higher Power.

yeah... looks like there is no truce yet between Bret and Shawn... Apparently, Bret had a big celebration with the whole RAW roster after RAW went off air yesterday. Guess who were MIA.. Shawn, Triple H and Hornswoggle...

Seriously, all you get out of Shawn and Bret is that lame handshake and hug????? It is so easy to play off Shawn's changed persona.. Have him dog Bret to ask for his forgiveness. Bret doesn't budge.. Vince steps in. Stuff boils over and voila, we get Bret Vs Shawn V3... I am pretty sure Shawn can take as much bumps as Vince can in a street fight...

I'm not sure I want to see Bret wrestle though, I really don't think that after the stroke, he'll be able to pull off a Steamboat-esque comeback.

yeah got no desire to see Bret in the ring whatsoever, would be a shell of his former self after the unfortunate injures he's suffered.

That said, my god I had severe goosebumps. I thought the whole Bret/Shawn interaction at the start of Raw was amazing. Marked out so severely hard. Wasn't sure how he would be after so long away but man it was good. brought me straight back to my childhood, haven't been so excited about a wrestling show for ages. Wonder if we're going to get the newly patched up HBK/Bret team having Vince at some point. Not as a team but I can see both Bret and DX beasting Vince at some point, would be awesome.

A match which I would pay to see would be an six man tag team match at Wrestlemania, Hart Dynasty & Bret Hart Vs Vince & Jerishow - think that could be a good one and keep Bret Hart to short sharp signature moves in the ring.

Bret-Shawn at Mania makes no sense to me at all. No matter what match they put on it will just tarnish the memory of the genuine 5* exhibitions they have put on in the past. Bret can't wrestle conventional matches anymore and a Bret-Shawn gimmick match(especially a street fight) would be the biggest anti-climax ever as people would want and expect so much more. Bret just can't go with Shawn in the ring anymore, and I doubt he will seriously consider tarnishing his legacy by doing it as Michaels will make him look terrible in comparison.

Bret-Vince makes so much more sense in that it is the real heat behind Montreal which until today's episode has been played all behind the scenes. It's the feud which hasn't been done on screen and the type of spinoff match which would be fresh and sell bucketloads. Bret-Vince in a street fight/brawl (aka Vince-Hogan) just is far more appropriate to the abilities of the two current "wrestlers" and is a match with both their wrestling minds could be a spectacle and a half.

Much rather that in one corner and afterwards a repeat of a Taker-Hbk purity clinic afterwards.

Also, just downloaded Impact for the week, what a ridiculous night seeing Bret-Hbk-Vince in the ring on one show and Hogan-Bischoff-Hall-Walton on the other. Wow, just ****ing wow. Will give proper reviews once I've watched both shows in their entirety.
