*Official* West Indies In Australia

Following it on Cricinfo but I reckon Gayle should toss Sarwan the ball - decent part-time tweaker (is his back still playing up?) and given Australia's recent inability to handle spin of any sort, he may be worth a chance to sneak a wicket, especially given it's a 5th day wicket.

Gotta go for the jugular now against North, who is always a shaky starter

Katich when playing for NSW, seem to value each ball on its merit, left a lot of balls and that resulted in 100s all over the place.

Yes! Come on Windies. Although it would be the best if Haddin and Mitchell came in and just smashed it.

That wa an absolutely dreadful shot

Mind you, no worse than that of Katich, Ponting, or Watson

This is superb cricket from West Indies. Sure I would love to see the looks on the face of the cheap excuses for journalists in Australian media.

Maybe Roach for Benn soon....He seems to be close to getting Clarke though.

It is such a pity this pitch is still a road. I agree with Taylor that Johnson should have come ahead and tried to smash around a bit. About 10 overs back Australia were still in with a chance of winning this. This sort of defensive negative cricket is not what one expects from the founders of modern aggressive test cricket.

Yea, old Australia would have gone for it - see Adelaide Test vs Eng Ashes series

To be fair, there is only one of those guys left in the team

With all the emotion building up with the over exaggerated appeals I can see an umpire "incident" happening. Whats the bet there complaints about a decision soon.

8-) The only real way they could lose the series is by trying to smash it around. That might suit the people who want to see Australia lose, but why would anyone realistically expect us to take a risk like that?

Yea, don't think it's wise to go for it at this stage. Australia are not the dominant force they were, they don't have a Gilchrist at seven, it would simply be foolish. The time it would work would not make up for the more often case of losing when they could have drawn. I mean if they were 1-0 down, maybe they should go for it, but not with the series lead.
