Needing 5 an over, pretty interesting stuff, can't wait to watch the last session. If they keep the rate up their going to need 6-7 an over, some one needs to step up.

He might be injured (and will probably bowl Oz out now) but Sammy has looked incredibly rank in this test - inaccurate, low 120s is something that a batsman could trundle down

TBH, it took him a while to warm up to even 120Km'h on Sunday.

Fun Police will probably ban Benn for life after that sledging
Nah, one can wish though. Sledging is considered manly when the other guy won't punch you back apparently. One of the holy grails of modern cricket, like Spirit of the Game and Undermining the Umpires.

I see Benn continues the long line of ordinary spin bowlers we make look like Muralitharan.
Benn has looked decent I thought, but Australia are handling him well.

For a guy that advocates cheating (to quote you, "if you're not cheating, your're not tryin", I find it some what hypocritical that you go on about how bad sledging is, and wish it was gone.

I think there are two issues: 1) players should do whatever they can to win, if that includes sledging, or being a bit liberal with some rules and getting away with it, go right ahead. 2) It's the job of the administrators to do what they think is best for the sport. It's their duty to prevent the players from cheating and catch them when it happens.

I don't blame the individual players for sledging, or scratching a ball, or a handball (in case of Thierry Henry).

Yeah but he's not going for anywhere near 2 per over. At best, that's seriously cautious play against a bowler who is 'decent'. He's not exactly ripping it sideways.

So, in your book, cheating is allowed but calling someone a @#$$$% is not?

Sorry, but that is really stuffed up

Anyway, Benn is not the world's worst and the wicket is helping him so I dont have a prolem with the way Oz are playing

Watto!!!!! You idiot

See my reply above. Cheating should not be allowed, neither should calling someone a &$%@#. But if the administrators are either letting you, or you think you can get away with it, you're doing your team a disservice by not trying it to win.
