**Official** Pakistan in New Zealand (3 tests)

I think Taylor is going about this the right way - certainly risky and could get out, but the only batsmen to score runs this match (and the Dunedin test more-or-less as well) were the ones who took a fairly positive approach and scored quite quickly.

Taylor isn't suited to come in like this every game but the difference is he goes out there and plays HIS game. A good batsman can play through situations that they don't like.

Hey there have been 3 other batsman and he scored double what they did
highly debateable :p

Yeah one error and gone. Wish we could trade Flynn's luck and give it to Taylor. Beauty of a ball. Pakistan showing up NZs batting and morning bowling effort here.

Certain players need to start showing they're worth their place.

Fulton can't seriously bat like this in domestic cricket. I don't care how bad the standard supposedly is and how good your eye is, there's no way you can average 40+ consistently throughout your First Class career with that sort of technique. Particularly in New Zealand before 2008.

It has to be a mental thing. He can't actually be that bad with those numbers.

This.

He defies belief. Especially with the amount of fast medium swing bowlers running around domestic cricket.

Excuses made for Taylor about the sight screen. It was poor judgement and a good ball.

And Fulton has at times looked really comfortable at ODI level too.

So who is our next number 5? No idea when Ryder will be back so maybe Broomster will actually get his chance. The fact it will be in Napier makes it all a bit easier.

How was it poor judgement?

What youre saying is that he now has to play at balls that pitch 6inches outside off stump. If that wicket delivery seams away, youll be saying that he shouldnt be playing that wide and it was poor judgement.

It was a fantastic ball and Ross taylor could do NOTHING about his dismissal
