Not bad start by the kids here, Obertan likes to get down the flank and pick out a player in the box.... Can see him getting a fair few games under his belt.

Edit, bit of a flick of Rafael outdid foster there, cant fault the keeper.... mebbie a bit quicker closing down, they've shown they want to shoot from distance already

The more I watch Anderson, the more I realise that he is the perfect midfield player. Doesnt defend, doesnt attack, just stays in the middle and goes sideways. Not saying he's a bad player, but he brings nothing to Utd. 2 1/2 years down the line and no sign of improving.

Yeah likewise, both in terms of rating him and of not being able to watch the game.I'm a massive fan, I think he's brilliant. I wasn't watching tonight though. Maybe cpr only sees his bad games and I only see his good games

Never really seen Anderson offer that much for us. Sure he runs alot and likes to harry midfieldiers, but its not often he breaks up attacks a la a true DM would, and his final third passing is possibly the weakest of any of our midfielders. And his shooting is stuff of legends.

His final third passing, and his passing in general, has been awesome every time I've seen him. He's a ball-winner too, comes out of so, so many 50-50s with possession.

I'm a big fan but I actually think his passing can be a weak point - the number of times he misjudges or overhits a pass in the final third is ****ing infuriating. What I love is his power and dynamism, his ability to drive the team forward, and as you say his ability to come up with the ball when it seems he has little to no right to do so.
