**** I wish the slow, lumbering hack who somehow took possession of Andriy Shevchenko's body about three years ago would get bored and give it back to the great man. It's dead set depressing watching him play now. :(

Because I'm sad I've worked out the average height of Arsenal's starting outfielders this evening.
Average height of 178.9cm or 5ft 10 and a bit. Song, Gallas and Vermaelen the only players taller than 6ft.

A goal remarkably similar to the so called 'Henry special' although I do not remember the Henry special actually resulting in a goal.
Hahaha, that old classic, I think on occasion it may have worked, I can only recall one such time mind you, but it was permanently etched to my brain.

SAMIR NASRI! He's my wallpaper on my school account, I somehow managed to pick up Nasri as a nickname from my exploits up the field :p

Denilson on the stroke of HT

BBC Text Commentary :

Arsenal goal: It's almost certain that Denilson has never heard of Andrew Flintoff, but that ball swung both ways. The Brazilian hits a sizzler from 35 yards but it goes one way and then very, very late goes in the other direction, completely bamboozling Sinan Bolat. He should still save it, but that was crazy.

Cricket related so thought I'd copy.

Bees 0-0 with Wycombe at half time in what is a really important game for us, encouraged by some loan aquisitions over the last couple of weeks got John Bostock in from Totenham who was looks so much better than anyone else in the side and have got two Arsenal players in this week, Wojciech Szczesny in goal and Rhys Murphy. They are all aged about 12 but they promise to be loan signings that actually add some much needed quality.

I think the biggest thing, and most obvious thing, is the ability of Gerrard's teammates. If you swap Keane or Vieira for Gerrard Liverpool still aren't winning anything.
If you swap Barry or whoever in for Gerrard England actually play a little better...

Tells you something about Cowardly Thug's real position relatively speaking. He's not that good by England standards let alone globally.

Ugh this looks like a horrible result, these loan signings better be good or we will be joining Tranmere in the bottom 4 soon.

Wasn't there tonight, touch of the man-flu, but not a terrible point, soft pen, soft sending-off, but we still managaged to pinch something at the end:)
