**Official** Pakistan in New Zealand (3 tests)

Xuhaib

International Coach
I don't think Asif usually bowls that much quicker, I remember watching him in the 2007 World T20 against India where in the group match he took about four top order wickets and he wasn't bowling super fast.

I bet Vettori's pleased with the turn the pitch is beginning to take, though one gets the impression Ajmal could be very dangerous in New Zealand's second innings too. Agreed regarding Gul being a bit unlucky.
During his purple patch he was 130-137-138 currenty he is 125-132-133 not sure wether the loss in pace is permenent of he is just easing himself in.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
9am in Dunedin, it's very, very sunny with few clouds in the sky. So much so when I look out the window I am blinded by the reflection off some of the roof tops!

If one of these bowlers gets hit on the gloves in this meaningless little session, then I'll be so pissed. No idea why NZ are batting on here.

Why wouldn't they? I mean, it's not like they're very likely to bowl Pakistan out twice for less than 410, so they have to get these runs sooner or later.

Iain O'Brien loves bowling into the wind.

The man himself said:
I learnt early on, while playing for Wellington, that if I was to make it for Wellington I had to pick a tough job and do it well. Often there isn't a tougher job than bowling into the wind, so I picked that one as the one I would take on. If you find a job that no one else wants to do, learn to do it well, it's yours for as long as you can do it for, and that's been my secret on me making and staying in the Wellington team, and how I got my chance to play for the Black Caps.
