Oh god, please be a match at Wrestlemania.WWE Hall of Famer and Hollywood heavyweight Dwayne "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson says he's working with WWE on a special television project that would be in addition to guest-hosting a future episode of WWE Raw. During a Thursday morning radio appearance on the syndicated Jack Diamond Morning Show, Johnson was vague on the details but hinted that the project will be significant.
"I love that world and being able to entertain, especially if I could go back whether it's on Smackdown and do a promo or guest-host or we could create this cool show, whatever that may be," Johnson said. "Especially now, I'm at the point where I can go back and give back to the fans and help out the guys in any way I can."
Johnson said he and Vince McMahon have a great relationship and he's looking forward to working with WWE again in the future. "Right now we're trying to put together - there is always something cool and interesting for me to do. I would like to do something more than just host the show," Johnson said. "I'm in the process of creating something really cool for the fans - something very special and unique. It will be something like one big entertaining show."
Would mark the hell out for him to face HBK, but is clearly never going to happen. Though I would be delighted to see him back to face anybody, I think the most likely outcome and the one that would draw the most would be Rock vs Cena, would love to see that, even though the IWC would probably **** all over it. Rock vs Jericho would be another one I would enjoy, can't say the idea of him facing HHH would appeal to me a great deal...but like I said, him being back would be enough, regardless of who he would end up facing.Against?
Yeah same, rumour has it that he's meant to be hosting RAW in January, if that's true, and I sure hope it is, that could set the ball rolling for some sort of Wrestlemania involvement....fingers crossed.Hope he is back to put someone over. It is just going to be tough to put him in a feud with any up comer and not have him completely overshadow them. Still, it's fresh and huge. Will definitely watch when he does come back no matter in what capacity.
This was what went through my mind as well. Though I hadn't stopped to consider Orton v Rock, which I wouldn't object to, but certainly wouldn't be top of my list. Not sure how the crowd would react to Cena v Rock though, on his comebacks since departure Rock tends to get a fair bit of heat from the crowd...so it might work to use him as the heel....but in all probability not..The dream match is probably Rock/Cena, but that has two problems:
1) It looks like Cena/Taker is a lock for WMXVI
2) I'm not sure the crowd would be willing to have the entire crowd turn on Cena which they would do regardless of whether Rocky is face or heel. Even if they try to make him the bad guy, crowds have shown for years that they want to cheer for The Rock - unless he comes up against Hogan, and I can imagine the exact same thing happening here only with Cena taking Rocky's role and Rocky taking Hogan's.
That being said, there is no other match I want to see him in. Orton/Rock doesn't interest me, Punk/Rock doesn't either. Rock/Cena is the only real dream match left.
Is Cena the same annoying tweener he's always been? A proper heel turn against arguably the most over guy ever could make for a spectacular feud. If he keeps the same gimmick he'd probably be eaten alive though. The dream match is probably Rock/Cena, but that has two problems:

They initially give him a mixed reaction, before he starts cracking jokes and they can't help but cheer him (i.e. the SmackDown promo this year)This was what went through my mind as well. I reckon they've made it quite plain they don't want to to turn Cena heel, and probably for good reason. He sells insane amounts of merchandise, and I have no doubt the crowd would go back to cheering him if he turned heel as they did in the first place to force the face turn back in 2004.Is Cena the same annoying tweener he's always been? The trunks he wears certainly make him look it.Stupid question: Is Chris Jericho fat?
The Big Show is fat. Viscera is fat. Mark Henry is fat and maybe even JBL is fat. Chris Jericho, while he has put on a little weight since his return shouldn't be called fat. He's 38 years old, nearing 40. How can he still continue to look like he did when he was 25?Stupid question: Is Chris Jericho fat?
