No way. Scott Steiner is hilariously entertaining. He's the master of the crazy promo. His in ring work is pretty good for his age too and back in the day he was up there as one of the better in ring performers.

Scott Steiner is currently one of the worst workers in the history of wrestling, his offence looks like utter **** until he pulls out a suplex, which is the only thing he does well, and then goes back to looking absolutely terrible. He was a great wrestler back in the early days of the steiner brothers before his back got ****ed up and he turned into the most stedded man currently alive on the planet but since then he's been atrocious.

Having said that, I still love him, he is hilarious.

YouTube - Scott Steiner is the greatest wrestler of all time <3

Apparently in the firs 90 minutes of last night's RAW there was less than 10 minutes of actual wrestling. Jeez I know it's the "entertainment show!, but ffs, that is dire.

On a plus side, the card for Survivor Series is looking pretty stacked, there is the potential for some great matches and the majority of it is something totally fresh as well, quite looking forward to it.

Best. Heel. Ever.

I remember one time where there was a horrific in-ring injury (might have been the Benoit piledriver gone wrong) and they were showing it nuts and all on a TV screen backstage. Camera pans out and there's Steiner sitting on a Laz-E-Boy with some popcorn laughing his ass off. He just did it so well, could piss anyone and everyone off and get himself over huge. Complete ass-water in the ring but nothing short of incredible as a heel. Probably my favourite of all time.

Big Popa Pump is your hookup, holla if ya here me.

Steiner's defection to the NWO was classic.

And Steiner in the last few years of WCW was an awesome heel.

But I will always remember him for that God awful match with Triple H at Rumble 2003. Surely when he went backstage Triple H ripped him a new one.

Then Angle and Benoit followed it up and put on an absolute classic.

Doesn't change the fact that it was a pretty ****ing awesome show. Jeez Kofi is going to be a megastar.

I suppose people who watch wrestling for the actual action might've been a bit put off, but I watch wrestling for the entertainment as opposed to the in-ring fix (although in a very different way, MMA gives me that).

I think when they get the right guest to host the shows, Raw is very watchable. Piper seemed a little bit weird this week, but he's so awesome that I turned the other way. The set they used tonight will probably only stay for MSG which is a shame because it is so much better than the over-produced set they have now that completely takes the crowd out of it a lot of the time.

I don't have a problem with the entertainment so to speak, but for me personally, it is still a wrestling show, and therefore the entertainment should be built around the wrestling, rather than the show being a collection of skits with a few 3 minute wrestling matches thrown in to break them up a bit. The shows between 99 and 05 demonstrated that it is possible to find a decent balance between the two aspects. And really, would it kill them to let MVP/Evan Bourne/Swagger have more than 3 minutes of TV ring time every week? Especially when it comes at the expense of watching Chavo get humiliated by Hornswoggle for 20 minutes.

If you want entertainment there are so many better things to be watching/doing than a bunch of roid freaks trying to act and be funny with material aimed at 12 year olds. Being a "pro wrestling" show it really should have a considerable amount of actual wrestling to qualify. Otherwise it's nothing more than an MTV reality show (a real bad one) loosely based on wrestling.

Yeah this, generally at the moment if a segment does not involve Jericho/Kingston I just fast forward through the entire show, and that's when I can actually be bothered to watch it.
