Haha yeah this is a good point. Denly was a terrible pick but he's better than Wright. Should just be Strauss and Bopara, probably won't be though. Not if Luke Wright is going to open.

I saw both Wright and Denly bat for England at Stormont last week. Trust me, Wright's the option. Every single time.Haha yeah this is a good point. Denly was a terrible pick but he's better than Wright. Should just be Strauss and Bopara, probably won't be though.
Steven Davies of Worcestershire should be opening.Haha yeah this is a good point. Denly was a terrible pick but he's better than Wright. Should just be Strauss and Bopara, probably won't be though.
"I used the bowling machine in the indoor nets as part of my preparation throughout the whole Test series, and I guess it's no coincidence why I didn't make any runs here. It was a bit of my preparation that I unfortunately didn't get a chance to do."
Pretty sure Boycott would've been injured had he played football before a test. His teammates would've been lining up to kick lumps outta him.I agree with Boycott about these stupid warm-up/warm-downs playing football. He said he refused or would refuse to do them because of the potential for getting injured. It's ridiculous, I know it only happens every few months that someone does get injured from pissing about like that - but these are totally needless injuries and can have a big effect.
Because I wanted to go to see some Ashes Cricket having not been able to afford it in 2005?Why did you buy the ticket in the first place?
Perhaps, but he's not even in the squad so even hoping for such a thing at this point is pointless.Steven Davies of Worcestershire should be opening.
Does Paine open at domestic level?Interesting to see what XI we play with today, got a lot of fast bowling options and the middle order too is far from settled, anyways this is the XI that should play:
1.T.Paine+
2.S.Watson
3.C.Ferguson
4.M.Clarke*
5.A.Voges/C.White
6.M.Hussey
7.J.Hopes
8.M.Johnson
9.B.Lee
10.N.Hauritz
11.N.Bracken
Don't think there's going to be any rain today, and should be fine on Sunday too (maybe a couple of showers).Nah, just consistent. (face)
Really hoping it doesn't rain tonight, for Brax if nothing else.
Yes.Does Paine open at domestic level?
Hayden's back?Yes.
And of course, The Ego will open the batting tonight.
