Is the rest of the card any good?
Nah, was crap.

Kevin Nash v HHH and Lesnar v Show in a stretcher match were the title matches, IIRC. Also had some weak, weak undercard matches like La Resistance v Test and Steiner or something. I also seem to remember there being a six-man tag involving Cena and Benoit, but I don't remember who the other participants were.

Of course, the highlight of the PPV was the Torrie v Sable bikini contest.

Haha anything involving Kevin Nash post WCW is pretty dire imo, so I will avoid looking at the rest of the card.

On a side note.

Shelton Benjamin’s recent move to ECW was not done as a demotion, but rather in hopes that he’ll once again emerge as a big fish in a small pond. The PWTorch Newsletter reports that the company feels if he heats up on ECW, they can always move him back to RAW or SmackDown. Shelton’s reputation for years was that he’s a great athlete but lacks the motivation to live up to WWE’s expectations of him, and this caused his SmackDown push to be scaled back. The feeling of several sources is that he became complacent once he made some money, but has shed that reputation in recent months.

In another report by the PWTorch Newsletter, they state that WWE officials take into account the number of minority wrestlers they have on each brand. More than one source says that race was something taken into account as part of the recent 15-wrestler trade between brands.
Find this a bit dissapointing, I'm a huge Shelton fan, wish he could just motivate himself a bit more, because he could really go places, such a great worker. He was so hot about 4 years ago and was just below the ME but apart from his slight comeback last year he has bombed pretty badly which is a crying shame. His match on RAW against HBK was one of the best matches I have seen outside of a PPV, really great stuff.

Some really interesting news coming in from TNA this week. Apparently Jeff Jarrett is involved with Kurt Angle's ex wife.

"Jeff Jarrett was not at last night's TNA Victory Road PPV, and will not be at TV this week. Late last week, during a company meeting, TNA front-office employees were told that Jarrett was taking "personal time off", which was not expected. Jarrett was to be a part of backstage skits last night, and on TV they have been building a Jeff Jarrett vs. Eric Young feud, the hiatus was not a planned one.

Dutch Mantel, Jim Cornette, Terry Taylor and Vince Russo ran the PPV last night.

The hiatus has interesting timing, as last week there was a call made to the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show by an "anonymous TNA employee". The employee had his or her voice distorted, and went onto claim that Jeff Jarrett was now involved with Karen Angle, and that they are living together.

TNA's Steven Godfrey stated that he could not "comment on personnel issues at this time".

The sudden absence of Jarrett was the big topic of discussion at last night's PPV. It is believed that last night was the first PPV Jarrett was not at or in control of."

More news coming in. This gets a little bit stranger and apparently Kurt Angle says he will not be renewing his contract with TNA if Jeff Jarrett is in power.

"While it has been labeled as a "personal leave", Dixie Carter ordered Jeff Jarrett to go home following the mysterious call on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show that stated that Jarrett and Karen Angle were now together.

Kurt Angle has been saying backstage that he will not sign a new contract with Jarrett in creative power, and also stated that he will end up with booking control of the company. Most of the wrestlers are siding with Angle in this situation, aside from the people who are close to Jarrett personally.

People within TNA have been playing the recording from the "Bubba the Love Sponge" to see if they can figure out who the voice that caused all of this mess belongs too. TNA's booking plans for the next month were written and planned prior to this whole incident."

Reckon this will culminate in Angle moving back to the WWE tbh, quite a funny state of affairs though, TNA not really being done any favours by Jarret if these allegations are true either.

Just read the results from last nights RAW, one thing that stood out as being particularly bad was this:

Brian Kendrick jobbing to Jerry Lawler,

I mean what the **** is that all about, this reminds me a hell of a lot of the crap that Shane Helms and Muhammed Hassan went through...and look how their careers bombed from that point onwards...dire.

Hassan was the best gimmick out there. One which had a chance of being relevant in the world as opposed to all the ******** crap that they trot out. Too many the people couldn't buy an Arab American wanting to be given a fair go as being someone they could cheer for.

That whole masked kidnappers crap that they pulled at the end was horrific too.

Hassan was also a victim of awful timing, though. He could have been a MONSTER heel (and arguably already was) had it not been for the London Bombings.

As much as I don't really care for Brian Kendrick, no one on the main roster (save Santino) should be losing to Jerry Lawler in less than three minutes. Not sure where he stands at the moment - probably will go in their next clean out unless he finds something.

I have never quite got over the time Lashley destroyed Umaga through the side of the cage, that was the greatest thing I have ever seen in my life

Haha that was pretty awesome actually, pretty unique sort of spot, have never seen anyone use the cage like that before/since.

Re: This weeks RAW - thought it was a car crash of a show, getting really sick of RAW at the moment. So many non-wrestling segments. So many pointless matches that last 3 mins (Kendrick/Lawler - Chavo/Hornswoggle). Hate this celebrity involvement crap. esspecially when all the guest host stuff is all backstage segments that was obviously filmed before the show, and next week we get Shaq O'Neil, joy. And then to top it off we get a predictable ME in which Cena and HHH dominate...again, yawn. Thank god Jericho (thought he was apparently a Smackdown exlusive these days...) was on the show again to drag it up a bit (though **** knows why he keeps bothering to show up on RAW for no logical reason each and every week).

Shaq's coming on? Might tune in for that, he's one of the most naturally funny and charismatic celebrities out there.

Hopefully they will at least give him some proper air time then, as I mentioned earlier, ZZ Top obviously filmed all their stuff away from the arena probably days before the show went out, so it was all backstage crap, mainly featuring Santino and the Divas, and Jericho saying that Fozzy were a bigger/better band etc... Just no good.

HBK being heavily advertised in the US to make a comeback for Summerslam, dearly hope this is true, would improve RAW no end, at a time when he is desperately missed. Feel for the guy a bit though, if anyone has earnt the right to take time off and be with his family it is HBK, and for him to have to make return after return to bail out the WWE is not fair on him really. Hope they can find him a decent program.

Haha ouch. Hopefully they don't try to script every line he says. Would ruin it all. Just give the big guy the gist of what they want and let him run with it. He's hilarious.

EDIT: Just seen he's hosting RAW with Jeremy Piven (aka Ari Gold from Entourage). Guaranteed to be funny as long as WWE writers don't lame it up.

Looks like Chris Masters is set to come back to the main roster once the 'E can find a role for him. Quite looking forward to it, for a long time I wasn't a big fan of his but towards the end of his career he started to win me over, didn't mind having a laugh at his own expense and got some right **** off some of the wrestlers (no need to mention names) and took it well. From shoot interviews he seems to be a really down to earth and easy going dude as well so I hope he manages to do well.
