And yes, but even other than Murray, Gonzalez and Verdasco are also very good on clay and capable of beating Nadal on their day, or at the very least making his life difficult.

It's pretty obvious which side of the draw is softer with Djokovic out. Would take Monfils, Roddick and Del Potro any day of the week over Murray, Gonzalez, Verdasco and Davydenko.
